Hepcats. Martin Wagner dangled promises of picking back up the storyline when he moved it to Antarctic and in digital form; but, due to financial and personal issues never did. That is a work crying out to be revisited.

Many great series up there. The one whose interruption I regret the most is Strangehaven, an indie title by Gary Spencer Millidge, which was as good at depicting the normal life in a British village as it was in telling a very weird, bizarre and engrossing story.

He did revive it about 2-3 years ago in an anthology book (I wan to say A-1, but I am not sure). I have the three trades (after buying the one or 2 single issues that came out each year while I was in New England, I couldn't find a shop out here that carried it so picked up the 2nd and 3rd trades-the first trade was my intro to the book then I was picking it up as it came out). I am not sure if that revived storyline ever finished though, or if more is planned. -M

I voted New Gods, but the other that immediately pops to mind is Andrew Helfer and Kyle Baker were doing a wild 90's reinterpretation of The Shadow. Conde Nast, who owns the rights to the character, stepped in and had the title cancelled without resolution of story. This one always comes to mind.

IIRC, he lost his head and it was put on a robot body.
It really was a good series, though. The earlier issues were drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz.

I don't blame the owners for jumping in and stopping that travesty.

It was wild but really good.
Of course he would've gone back to his classic look, just like Superman was only Electro for a short while.

I'm not sure it exactly qualifies, but I was sad there wasn't more Arrowsmith... seemed like it had really good potential. I'm not said Busiek focuses on Astro City though

I had to look it up, but the new chapters appeared in a mag called Meanwhile... starting in 2014 from Soaring Penguin Press, a UK Publisher, and according to the GCD there have been 6 issues since 2014. Not sure what their distribution is to North America though. Their website lists up to issue 8 for sale but prices are in pounds, so I am not sure if they ship to the US or Canada. -M

I missed Strangehaven but it looks really good, though the fact it didn't end properly doesn't help me to want to buy it

Strangehaven was a great and much-missed series.
I loved Helfer's Shadow! I am usually sensitive to what I see as inaccurate depictions of classic characters, but this was so over the top that I could appreciate it in its own right. Unlike a simply badly written travesty, to my mind it simply has nothing to do with the 'real' Shadow.
My vote for most-missed comic? The saga of 'Erma Felna, EDF' in Albedo.

I never read Albedo and don't know anything about it other than it's supposed to be an above average anthropomorphic comic.
