I spend about 4 hours a day and sometimes - rarely close to 5 hours if I'm running my club.

On Vacation - less than 30 minutes. I generally try & disconnect from the world when I am on vacation.
Workdays - one to two hrs/day. I am on the internet for only a few minutes several times throughout the day.
Days Off - 3 to 4 hrs/day.

I'm on the Internet full-time for my night job, part-time and my day job, and then an hour or so at home when I'm not working.

Maybe 1-4 hours. I spend way too much time doing nothing vital.

It depends on what I'm doing on a given day. If I'm doing research for the book, I can be on for twelve hours or more. if it's Classic Comics Christmas time, I check in on CCF five or six times during the day. Many days I'm on just long enough to check my messages.
Cei-U! I summon the multiple choice!

1-3 hours daily Monday through Friday while working. Check in and out here at CCF and Amazon. Occasionally Youtube for music while working. Never on weekends or vacation, don't have internet at home. Need that time away since on computer 40+ hours a week with work alone.

The amount of time I spend online tends to correlate to how badly I need to escape from my real life.
In my mid 20s, when money was tight and everything was stressful, I probably logged 6 to 8 hours a day.
While married, I probably spent 1 to 4 hours online a day.
Now that I'm separated and starting life over again, I usually spend less than an hour online each day, and most of that time is spent here.
Of course, if I am procrastinating at work or am on vacation (which I am right now), I might clock up to three hours.

It depends on how one wants to classify this.
While I am at work, you could say I'm on the internet for 8 hours, but that isn't entirely accurate. Everything we do it web-based, and I usually have Pandora playing on my computer while I'm working, but I'm not surfing websites or doing things I want to do. Sure, I check in on CNN for news and LinkedIn for professional networking here and there, but I'm not on entertainment sites or things like that.
For personal use, I usually binge the internet. There will be days when I check in here, a couple of sports blogs for my teams, and a couple of Magic:The Gathering sites from my phone but no more than that, and I maybe rack about an hour, while there are other days when I can actually spend time using my laptop to do research, read longer articles on other sites, do my banking, and a myriad of other things and I may be online for 3-4 hours straight.
That also doesn't count streaming video, which I do through my Blu-Ray player. My wife and I might watch an hour of TV in the evening, so does that count, or, even though the internet is the means by which I access the programs, I am not actually "on the internet".
So, I went with "Varies Everyday", although "I'm way overthinking the question" is probably more appropriate.

I went for 3-5 hours because that's probably the norm, unless I'm on holiday, in which case I try to use it as little as possible. Of course, there will be odd days when I might be online 8 hours or more, but generally it's 3-5 writing & checking e-mails, random surfing, watching Youtube vids, and, of course, wasting time here.

Too much time. If you need a rough estimate, from the time I wake to the time I go to bed.
God, I need a job and a social life.
