While the first 12 issues of Micronauts are widely recognized as classic, the rest of the run is dismissed.
Yes, it was retreading after that, but it was still a great series.
Gil Kane doesn't get enough recognition for his work here.
Honorable mention to badwolf. This issue inspired me to write my one and only fan letter ever. I don't think Pat Broderick's work has ever looked better than it did on the Micronauts. I hand wrote the letter and my handwriting is horrible. I'm sure editors Louise Simonson and Danny Fingeroth didn't even try to read it.
