This one was challenging, but here's my best shot! Well played! While looking for my own cover, I did find one that would meet your criteria. I'll post after the contest if no posts it in the meantime.

...I must have looked at this cover dozens of time and I actually have a copy, but darned if I ever noticed the castle on it. Yes, fantastic camera angle on that Kirby Demon cover. Lots of gorgeous eye-catching covers posted so far--some expected great classics, but also some amazing covers I've never seen before. Great choices, everyone!

I fully expect to be entirely stumped sometime. My money's on that not happening right away. This is quite a clever conceit, and the fact that it's a personal challenge makes it a very compelling complement to the contest proper.

Thanks MechaGodzilla! While I haven't read all of the LoSH series, Princess Projectra was a fave character of mine, so this cover was a stand out for me.

Adams does it again. So striking! I thought this waz striking as well. I didnt know who drew it. I thought maybe Gene Colan but as i look at it i definitely see Adams. I have always liked gargoyles so as soon as i saw them i knew this was my choice.

Drac's face in the top left corner looks unusual - does anyone know who drew it?

Seeing the Neal Adams covers in this thread, I wish he'd done a good long run on a Dracula or some other horror series: his style was better suited to that genre than to superheroes, IMO, notwithstanding the popularity of his Batman and other superhero work.

Thanks MechaGodzilla! While I haven't read all of the LoSH series, Princess Projectra was a fave character of mine, so this cover was a stand out for me. my favorite thing on that cover is how they "de-sexualized" one of the most "chest-plunging" Cockrum Legion costumes, for the cover art (tho if I recall, it was correctly illustrated on the interior) if you're not super familiar w/ Cockrum's legion costumes. . here's Jeckie's "real" costume:

I always thought this was her best costume. I really didn't like the Sensor Girl look.
