Thanks, I am having a fun time here today  And I'm keeping my Trimpe cover!!  Besides, look at his uniform.  It's apicture, not a real bird. Reporting you now. (BTW, this story and that particular issue of MSH are among my all-time favorites.) |

Sorry to be late here. Fantastic covers so far -- some real real beauties, some expected classics, while others are brand new to me. Great covers all. And yes, the theme I put forth stipulated eagles as in birds, so some of the covers don't fit the theme. But I admire the creativity! |

I'll look for a cover i think could win. If i don't find a great one I'll stick with this Trimpe beauty.
