I remember Blonde Phantom had Miss America as a back-up feature, but Namora was all Namora. They should do facsimile editions of Namora #1 and Blonde Phantom #12 & 13, the heck with such recent things as Spider-Woman and Howard The Duck! I would love a collection of these. (Although I also bought a facsimile edition of Howard the Duck.) |

Damn it! Yeah, I misremembered that. This is not my thread. There was Dick Tracy the Detective, dated February 1937, though it was for one issue. He and Popeye were probably the most popular heroes in comic books before Superman came along.  |
