Even in the early days I never saw any Marvel posters or t shirts.

The Big Bang theory is a Warner Brothers show, so it's all 'corporate synergy'. There were some Marvel references in dialogue early on, but as far as attire or props, not much, unless they wanted to make a joke about something like those 'giant Hulk fists' toys. And every once in a while, Sheldon would have a Spider-Man shirt, just as change from his Green Lantern or Flash looks.

Not sure about more recent seasons of BBT, as I haven't really watched the show in a while, but I do recall an episode in which Stan Lee appeared (and filed a restraining order against that prick character that everyone else seems to like). Also, there was another episode in which Fantastic Four #51 was put up in a wager between two of the characters.

At 0:18 in this clip of a deleted scene from The Goonies, you can see the following issues on a magazine rack: Mad Magazine #251, Marvel Team-Up #149, and Warlord #89. There is even an issue of Boudoir, which Mouth begins to read, but is then taken from him by the preppy bully, Troy.
Back in the early 1990s, I remember watching a version of The Goonies, which aired on the Disney Channel, that included this scene. It actually provides further context on these two details of the movie:
1) Troy grabs the treasure map from Mikey, rolls it up, and lights it on fire. This caused the singes to the top of map, which are noticeable when Andy plays the bone piano.
2) Mikey and Mouth attack Troy, in an attempt to get the map back. Troy drops the map, grabs Mikey, and is about to punch him in the face; however, Brand arrives, stops Troy, and slightly manhandles and humiliates him. This creates further animosity between Troy and Brand, which might explain why Troy, while driving his convertible with Andy and Stef, basically attempted to murder Brand, by grabbing Brand, while brand was on that small Asian girl's bike and not letting him go until Brand would be forced of the side of the road.
All in all, this scene was poorly put together, because of the awkward acting, Chunk's bizarre behavior, and the mean-spirited remarks that Brand makes at Data, Mouth, and Chunk, as they leave the convenience store; so I can see why it was excluded from most cuts of the film. Still, it was cool to see contemporary comics in the background and it provide extra overall context.
