All the ones I wanted to use are taken. including Farrar starting the contest with my first choice. Note to contest starters; pick a bad cover as your example   Right now i am posting one of my favorite pages with the panther, until I come up with an entry I like. And obviously...not an entry. Yeah, it's too bad there are no Avengers covers by Busema with as impressive a Panther as the one here. This is probably the issue that made me a fan of the character, just because the Buscema/Klein art team came up with such a great rendition. I didn't get to read the origin story in the FF until some years later. There is one Kirby cover featuring the Panther (though not front and centre since it wasn't a Black Panther comic) that I almost used and hope to see make an appearance. It's one of my favourite images of the character. |

 I've never thought of T'Challa the same since this story From my first exposure to his art, I always though Sal Velluto was so underrated and deserving of star status. |

But since any of the covers I liked were already were taken, rather than just throw another Jungle Action issue up, I thought I'd highlight this one. I wasn't going to win anyway. |

As president and all the members of the Stegorn the Dinosaur Man fan club, I have to go with... cover. I remember buying this when it was fresh on the racks. Could not get enough of Spider-Man at that time. |
