Seattle Pilots Baseball Team 1969 - Only Season ... Part 2 of 2Tommy Harper Uhhhh...Mech...That's not Tommy Harper. Tommy Harper is black. I should had known that ... an unfortunate error on my part. I know he was black and he led the Pilots with a career high 73 stolen bases of which I remember seeing him stealing 3rd base in an exciting play that scored 2 runs.

1976 $2 Dollar BillPersonally, I like to see a comeback of these bills -- because there are certain days when I do go shopping that I can easily acquire 8-12 $1 Dollar Bills if you aren't paying much attention of what in your wallet these days. I know many places that don't accept them at face value and yet they are legal tender. I know that some of you may think it a bad thing to carry these around and all that and I do know one person back in the 80's on vacation in San Francisco that he will not accept them as currency at all and yet -- I have to give him a $20 Dollar Bill as payment on a $11 Dollar Meal. I wanted to pay the Bill with a $10 and a $2 Dollar Bills and he will not give me back a $1 because I didn't have one in my wallet. I was thinking about that this morning and looking through my wallet that I have over $15 in Ones ... it would had been better managed if I could get it down to 7 $2 and a One Dollar Bill ... or better yet a $10 and a $5. I loved the backside of the 1976 $2 Dollar Bill of our Founding Fathers signing the Declaration of Independence.

They still make $2 bills. They aren't used much, but they are still minted. My boys have a bunch of them because they're used as premiums at the County Fair.
I'll add that at one point I used to get $1 coins and use them as tips when I went to the bar. I don't go out enough now to make it worth the effort.

Vintage-Antique-Homelite-3500-Watt-Generator-1956-2-Cycle3500 Watts just ran the Refrigerator and couple other household devices and our Television Set and 3-5 lights around our home that I grew up from ... I was a young kid around 7 years old when we had to use this generator that ran our power for one week when we had no power available at that time. I'm not a generator expert -- but my Dad and older brother Douglas was and they were responsible to keep the power on during this one week time back in 1966. Later on my Dad turned it in for 4000 Watt Generator and I can't remember anything about it; h got a terrific 2 for 1 deal and two of them ran together took care the entire house a couple of times when we were without power for 4 days and later on 5 days in the late 60's. I remember this generator and lucky to find pictures of it in ebay land and wanted to share how we compensate without electricity during the 60's and onward. Those things came in handy ... and that's generator was moderately noisy at the time that we used it.

PC and Dinner Trays - VintageWe had eight of these in my Parents Home back in the 60's and they are from Costco (I've believe the brand) ... not the Warehouse Store that everyone here thinks so. One of my brother recently moved and he has these and I'm getting these from him in a week and happy to take them in. He wants to unload these things because his wife wants to re-do the deco of their new home and all that. They were made around 1964 and they stacked really well and easy to store them -- so that you can get them out of your way.

Swanson TV DinnersPolynesian Style Dinner Turkey Dinner Fried Chicken Dinner Meat Loaf Dinner Fish and Chips Dinner These are the ones that my Mom buys for her sons when my Parents are gone for the evening and my Mom doesn't had much time to cook and these are pretty simple to do back then and still are. I don't eat these anymore and stopped having them around 1988 and that's pretty much spell my desires to have these dinners. They were popular in the 60s and 70s and you can get them heated and eaten in 30 minutes or less. My favorites are Fried Chicken Dinner and the Polynesian Style Dinner back then ... then the Fish and Chips Dinner is my 3rd Favorites. I pretty much ate these five dinners most of the time -- and my brothers did as well. Anyway, these are still being made and when -- I got a little older around 13-15; I had an acquired taste for this dinner below ... German Style Dinner That dinner was pretty much my staple dinner from 15 years of age until I graduated out of high school in 1978. Then, I stopped eating it right then and got bore eating these TV Dinners from 8 to 19 years of age. By time, I've graduated out of high school -- I started eating at Denny's or Skipper's Fish and Chips Places because I loved their food back then and all that. Ate a lot of Beans and Franks Dinners when I was around 8 to 11 years of age and that's what I usually ate for lunch back then and it's pretty tasty for a kid back then. After awhile ... you got tired of eating them and that's pretty much sums up my dissatisfaction of eating Beans and Frank Dinners. Beans and Frank Dinners

Especially after my parents got divorced and I lived with my dad. These, frozen pot pies, and frozen pizza made up my dinners on most night. I've had all of the above, but you've left out one very important TV dinner - the Salisbury steak! By the way, those pot pies were awesome, but took about 45 minutes to bake. An eternity in this age of TV dinners! come to think of it, these TV dinners took a long time before microwaves came along.

Top Three Pot Pies that I've liked the Most! The Swanson has the best beef and Banquet has the best crust ... both quite tasty and ranked Top 1 - in a tie-breaker! Marie Callender's Turkey Pot Pies (More Modern) These three were my favorites for the fruit version ... I'm strictly a Peach Pie Fan of Banquet! I didn't have this that much ... but, this is an excellent pot pie and I loved the ham and the cheese -- and it's quite good -- I usually have this for lunch.

I'm not sure exactly what my favorite TV dinners were, it's been so long. I'd probably go wityh Salisbury steak (in addition to the one Iv'e pictured, I remember one with either a brownie or chocolate pudding) then the turkey & stuffing, then the beans & franks. My favorite TV dinner dessert was the brownies. Those were great. The other TV dinner desserts, meh. Here are a couple more TV dinners I liked:

Now that the laws have changed in some states, "pot pie" doesn't mean what it used to mean.
