29 Years Ago....Batman '89! I was married for 5 years at the time. My wife & I went to the midnight showing. I wore a Batman T shirt. She wore a Joker T shirt. She fell asleep 20 mins into the movie. I don't think she ever has seen the whole movie. And that was the last superhero movie she ever went to!

I don't think she ever has seen the whole movie. And that was the last superhero movie she ever went to! I went a couple days after it opened with my aunt, who had already been to the midnight premiere. We both had Batman t-shirts too. It was a lot of fun and it really helped to reignite my love for Batman (at age 8 of all things)..

I find it hard to believe that's been 29 years that this movie came out and I was pleasantly surprised by Keaton's performance as Batman and Jack Nicholson was superb as the Joker.
I saw that movie 3 times in the first two weeks of it's showing ... saw it the day after it's came out and it was the matinee showing and paid $2.00 for it.
And again, when my favorite theatre that I go to ... informed me that this movie will not be playing next week. I saw this movie again and can't remember the movie that I wanted to see the first place.

To be the MAN you have to BEAT THE MAN! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Flair is wrestling royalty if not wrestling godhood! Met him in person back during a show in the late 80's and television doesn't really show the damage the man and his body has endured over the years. And yet he still managed to perform for the fans and always deliver one hell of a show. Love his fights with Ricky the Dragon Steamboat from the day.

When I was a kid and we used to go to the drive-in (another retro thing!) we used to stop off beforehand at the local Convenient Food Mart for snacks, and my parents let me choose one candy bar. I usually chose a Charleston Chew, probably because it was the biggest candy bar there. I know they still exist (at least I saw them in a grocery store a couple of years ago) but they are a lot harder to find than they used to be.

TRS-80 Pocket ComputerMy Dad had one of these -- and he didn't care for it and gave it away after owning it for 18 months -- here's some specifications about these computers shown in this TRS 80 review and understanding of it. I even used it on numerous occasions along with my three older brothers that were fascinated by it. My Mom didn't care for it at all and only my Dad and I were the ones that uses it the most and I used it for my math homework on occasions and my Dad did not like it at all. You Tube Presentation
