Because of my Club that I run, we gone through a major change, and with Halloween right around the corner and with the Holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) ... I'm not going to post anything on this thread until 2019. I'm sticking to this decision and decided this is the best way to handle it. Sorry Members. That's too bad. I'll miss your posts. Good luck with everything.

Veronica CarlsonThis Horror Actress had a limited acting career and starred in several Horror Classics of which some of them are my favorites - my number one pick is has to be Maria in Dracula Has Risen from the Grave -- Lee and Carlson had great chemistry together as the trailer of which Dracula (Lee) comes to seduce and bite Maria (Carlson) burns an image in my mind forever. I'm so surprised to see that she didn't do many movies and I have not seen Old Dracula yet; but the next two movies are real definite Horror Movies and the Horror of Frankenstein with Kate O'Mara who played Alys and both O'Mara and Carlson did well in that movie. Veronica is gorgeous; and I had a crush on her ever since seeing Dracula movie back in 1972 of which marked the first time that I've seen it and she is one of my favorite horror actresses around. She still living and she is around 74 right now and this is a fairly recent picture of her below. In her 70's Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968) as Maria My favorite scene with Lee. Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed (1969) as Anna With Peter Cushing The Horror of Frankenstein (1970) as Elizabeth Heiss With Kate here. Old Dracula (1974) as Ritva (Not Recommended)I'm not going to bother seeing this movie and according to my friends -- it's wasn't that good of a movie. Hopefully, in the next 3-5 days another actress that I've like in Horror films ... will be coming your way. I'm going to try my hardest to make it work.

Ingrid PittShe was a tour de force in the world of Horror Movies in the early 70's as she played Carla in The House That Dripped Blood, Countess Dracula as Countess Elisabeth, and The Vampire Lovers as a trio of players in Marcilla / Carmilla / Mircalla Karnstein of which she did an excellent job doing so. The Vampire Lovers is basically not for everyone and I was shocked at the age of 16 seeing this movie and parts of it was basically a soft porn gone bad and it was on a late night channel and I watched it without my parents approval. She died in 2010 and she was also known as Heidi in Where Eagles Dare of which starred Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. My favorite film -- Horror wise was Countess Dracula of which see did a great job in that movie and that movie was widely acclaimed and masterfully done in classic horror fashion. I just saw this movie a month ago at a friend place and had a ball seeing it again after a 10 years absence. Here performance as Carla in The House That Dripped Blood -- I seen it once and I don't recall much of that movie as Countess Dracula or the Vampire Lovers. Vampire Lovers had an all star lineup of gorgeous horror actresses in Pippa Steel, Madeline Smith, Dawn Addams, Kate O'Mara, and Kirsten Lindholm (Betts) One of my favorite actresses -- she was also played the Librarian in The Wicker Man in 1973 and Helga in The Final Option in 1982. Kirsten Lindholm (Betts)The House That Dripped Blood (1971) - With Trailer BelowCountess Dracula (1971) - With Trailer BelowShe commanded a presence on screen and that's was her calling card here. The Vampire Lovers (1970) - With Trailer BelowWith Madeline Smith who played Emma Morton -- She and Ingrid had great chemistry together. She was a successful model as well and did quite well doing that ... this is one of my favorite pictures of her.

Mary Collinson and Madeleine Collinson Collinson TwinsTwins of EvilMary as Maria Gellhorn Madeline as Frieda Gellhorn TrailerWhen, this movie came out in 1971, I actually waited until a decade later to watch this film by myself when my parents wasn't home on a late night channel that offered horror flicks and they showed this film uncensored and it's was pretty much between an R rated and X rated at the same time. Peter Cushing starred as Gustav Weil was excellent and I admit that I haven't seen this film for some time and another performance by an unknown actor by the name of Damien Thomas as Count Karnstein was outstanding and actually stole the movie with both Collinson Twins supporting the movie quite masterfully. I was very disappointed to learn back in 1982, that this movie was the only Hammer Film that starred the Collinson Twins and stunned that Hammer Studio didn't even brought them back for another movie. I have seen this movie twice in my lifetime and the last time that I saw it was in the late 80's -- maybe 5 to 7 years after watching back in 1981. I also learned that this movie is on YouTube in it's entire form. Here's the Movie. I'm thinking of watching on YouTube in the next few days from now. Twins of Evil is a classic horror film that really a classic and it's has its moments and sad that these two actresses made only 7 films together and three of them were virtually unknown and they weren't appreciative enough to recognize their talents as an actress in the horror genre. I enjoyed this film for its artistic and photographic sense. The sets are impressive and the costumes are outstanding and the gowns that they wore were sexy too.

Madeline SmithThe only Movie that I seen of Madeline Smith in Vampire Lovers with Ingrid Pitt and she and Ms. Pitt did an excellent job in this movie. Madeline played a character by the name of Emma Morton back in 1970. This is the only horror movie that I saw. She did the following Horror Movies that I have not seen. Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970) as Dolly Theater of Blood (1973) as Rosemary Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) as Sarah I briefly saw this movie back in 1988 and I was called in for work unexpectedly and only saw the 1st 20 minutes and forgot to record the movie off my VHS machine back then. I'm referring the 1974 film when she asked to play Sarah in that movie.
Madeline Smith as Sarah in the 1974 Movie - Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell. Back to Vampire LoversShe was excellent as Emma and I felt that both of these actresses were double billed as Lead Actress at the time and her performance was very good and quite professional and the chemistry of these two were outstanding. I just wanted to cover this today; and felt sorry that I haven't been posting on this thread for some time and wanted to touch base with Madeline Smith here. It's was a soft porn like movie and not for everyone here; I was stunned by the photography, the scene set up, and most importantly ... the elements in the background is highly noteworthy. They did a marvelous job of showcasing the Horror and I felt that it was graphic in nature and quite intense. I've made this avatar and I felt it was too graphic for this site and decided to share it in a spoiler. This movie is not for everyone -- but I did watch it a couple of times and I'm planning on watching it off of YouTube later on this weekend.

Martine BeswickAs Sister Hyde. She made two James Bond Movies: She started her career as Zora in From Russia with Love back in 1963 and again in Thunderball in 1965 as Paula of where she was brutally killed by Largo's Henchmen. Back to the movie of Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde back in 1971. She did a great job of seducing Harold that was being played by Lewis Fiander and I just find this movie a wonderful twist of things back in 1971 of which I watch it with my older brothers and they were all stunned by the gorgeous Martine here and I seen this movie about three times in my life and the last time was at my friend place a year ago. The Trailer It was a fun movie to watch and I was delighted by it. I just find it quite fascinating and enjoyed by the many scenes and the costumes were lavish and quite stylish and showcased the beauty of the actresses in this movie. She is one of my favorites and I was surprised to learned that her first movie was From Russia with Love as Zora one of the gypsies and got herself noticed. This is one of many outfits that she wore in this movie and this is my personal favorite I just wanted to do two in one day to make up the lost time as I did two one shot horror movies featuring gorgeous Madeline Smith and Martine Beswick. One more thing, I'm planning on watching it on YouTube again in the near future and enjoy her role as Sister Hyde. This movie a treat to see the lavish costumes, the background and the stunning dresses worn by Ms. Beswick and most importantly a great twist of thing of the story of Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde done in a different fashion of things. I'm going to do more later this week.

Elsa LanchesterThe Trailer The Monster meets Mate -- One of the most enduring scenes of all times. Bride of Frankenstein (1935)As Mary Shelley and she was quite lovely and enchanting actress ... To me, this movie is one of the most classic monster movies ever made and I just find it fascinating to watch and full of drama and suspense. It's a master epic movie that was directed by James Whale who did a great job doing so. Boris Karloff played the monster Frankenstein and he and Mary got double billing and rightly so. Her iconic hairdo that's quite original and showed the scars in her upper neck indicating she was made from parts of human bodies. Very detailed and done in a style that's quite original. I have seen this movie about more times than the Wizard of Oz and the beginning of the movie is considered a romance with Mary Shelley and Lord Byron that was played by Gavin Gordon was just beautiful and I wished it was a bit longer so I can embrace the beauty of Elsa. The classic picture of the Bride of Frankenstein

Una O'Connor Invisible Man and the Bride of Frankenstein ... One of her better roles back in 1933 and it was a blast seeing her screaming her head off and making a great scene doing so that I always enjoy seeing this in this movie alone and here's a great example of that in this YouTube clip below. I just watched this movie recently and it's a blast seeing it again and this movie is so good that the performance of Claude Rains as the Invisible Man was outstanding and showcased his evil in the worst way possible. She and Claude Rains had fantastic chemistry together and I had a hard time deciding which of them were on top of things. The answer for that alone is simple -- both of them. In Bride of Frankenstein -- Her role is equally good as the Invisible Man ... and here's some of the pictures that I liked in that movie back in 1935 The best part of that Movie and rightly so. Karloff was sensational, Elsa was fantastic, and the Supporting Role of Una ... was priceless indeed and many people today are still talking about her. She died in 1959, 13 days before I was born and my Parents at the time talked about her all the time and they went out to see the Bride of Frankenstein at a local theatre for a date about 5 years after her death while having a babysitter taking care of me and one of my older brother on a Saturday Matinee seeing this movie. My Mom and Dad enjoyed it quite well and took them close to my 11th birthday to let me watch this movie on Public Television - Channel 9 PBS station and I was enjoyed by this movie and was delighted to see Una performed so well.

Adam West, Leonard Nimoy, and Yvonne CraigAdam West, Yvonne Craig, and Leonard Nimoy hanging out in 1967. Adam West and Leonard Nimoy drumming it up, 1968. Batman and Batgirl off duty. Adam West and Yvonne Craig reading comic book introducing Batgirl. Barbara Gordon debuted in Detective Comics #359 titled, “The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!” (1967). Her civilian identity is given a doctorate in library science and she is employed as head of Gotham City Public Library, as well as later being elected to the United States Congress. As Batgirl, the character operates primarily in Gotham City, allying herself with Batman and the original Robin Dick Grayson, as well as other prominent heroes in the DC Universe. Adam West and Yvonne Craig on the set of the Batman TV show 1966 They were all good friends together and Leonard was happy to Yvonne in Star Trek and all that. They all did get along great and they enjoyed each other company. Adam and Leonard got together a lot playing music and banging the drums and all that. I just wanted to share this and Yvonne leaned on Adam's advice of what to do in her only season on Batman and they talked about how to make the show better and all that. Burt got along not as good as Adam; but respected Yvonne as Batgirl. Anyway, I just wanted to share this to all of you here. I'm going to try to make an appearance on this thread -- and keep it moving along.

A Pair of Spooky Gifs Here ...The Skeleton Dance (1929)Early form of animation was developed by Walt Disney's Animation Group and they were the pioneers in this area marking the way Cartoons were made. I missed this portion of how this was made in the mid-80's in Disneyland. The Cat’s Out (1931)Another Disney's Masterpiece. Back in the mid-80's ... I attended Disneyland and they had a short seminar on animation and they briefly shared how this masterpiece was made and I was fascinated by that. They had a lots of artists working on this project and used crude animation technology at the time that was light years ahead and that alone made this subject matter the Cat's Out a pure genius on Disney's Animation Staff at the time during the first two years of the Great Depression.

Television GogglesHugo Gernsback demonstrating his television goggles in 1963Hugo Gernsback; born Hugo Gernsbacher, August 16, 1884 – August 19, 1967, was a Luxembourgish-American inventor, writer, editor, and magazine publisher, best known for publications including the first science fiction magazine. His contributions to the genre as publisher–although not as a writer–were so significant that, along with the novelists H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, he is sometimes called “The Father of Science Fiction”. In his honor, annual awards presented at the World Science Fiction Convention are named the “Hugos”. From Me,I have heard of these and a little skeptical about them and I did find a YouTube clip and just watched it and came away with more questions than answers. Here's the clip.

Horror Monsters of the PastTop RowBela Lugosi as Dracula Boris Karloff as Frankenstein Elsa Lanchester as the Bride of Frankenstein Middle RowLon Chaney as the Phantom of the Opera Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolfman Boris Karloff as the Mummy Bottom Row
Ricou Browning as the Creature (in Water) Ben Chapman as the Creature (on Land)
Lon Chaney as the Hunchback of Notre Dame Claude Rains as the Invisible Man Notes: Ricou Browning was recruited first to play the Creature and he tried to both roles -- in Water and on Land; but the Director called for more Water Shots and the problem is that he had some problems doing the walking on land because he kept on tripping his feet. So, a couple days later they hired Ben Chapman and the rest was history. Ben wore the suit better than Ricou and that's alone made the role memorable for the movie itself.
