Not sure if I'm going to stay with Robotman or not. Just not quite seeing who I'd hook him up with. Rita is way too obvious.
Thinking...

That doesn't necessarily mean I couldn't use another female character; it's just that the more I thought about it, Cliff is practically immortal. His schtick is the cyborg thing and passing that on...
I don't know. It sort of becomes redundant, I guess.
Another character I've always really loved, but whose official history is another huge mess, is Fury, the daughter of Diana and Steve Trevor. I've always thought that's such a great, and obvious character.

There is already a no-member based Wonder Woman who is the daughter of Wonder Woman (Diana) and Steve Trevor.

Oh ok. Well drat. Back to thinking. Let me try and help. Here are a list of DC characters that I've always found interesting and have wished to see someone do something cool with them in modern times. Perhaps you can create a legacy for one of them(no pressure towards you to use one of them): Air Wave Apache Chief Bumblebee Dr. Light(Kimiyo Hoshi) Human Bomb Ibis The Invincible Liberty Belle Nightshade Phantom Lady

Sure, if there's no Courtney Whitmore in your universe... or maybe it could be an older one he digs up from the Starman museum or something. I didn't want him to be too powerful, and I thought having both the Rod and mist powers would be I'll give it some thought. I just thought with "star" as part of his name, it might be a good idea as Jack's abilities came from the Cosmic Rod. I'll ponder it more and surprise you. Sounds like a plan

Okay I have been giving the Mysterious Stranger some more thought (have to think about something while at work ) The classic Stranger physically showed up and often disappeared like a phantom hence the name. But that was then. This is a new age, where tech and media are ubiquitous. So what if the Stranger's methods have changed with the times? What if it is more of a ghost in the machine type of scenario when he shows up to issue his warnings and pronouncements. For example, random member of the Titans is watching a rerun of Friends or some such while on monitor duty, the scene form the episode on goes normally but suddenly the Stranger is sitting on the couch in Chandler's apartment causing the hero to do a double take, Then Stranger stands and starts addressing him from the screen while the scene continues going on behind him. Stranger issues his warning and the hero blinks and Stranger is gone. He tries rewinding the scene but the Stranger isn't there. The detective of the group examines the video to see if it's been doctored, but nothing. No sign the Stranger was there. Or another member is listening to music via device and earbuds and suddenly there is another voice coming through the music, the Stranger's. Again, issues warning/pronouncement but no trace of it afterwards. Someone might be watching a video on youtube, maybe classic music video and suddenly one of the background dancers spins around and it's the Stranger, issues his announcement and spins again and it's the regular dancer again. If someone is watching a cartoon, it's an animated version of the Stranger who appears, etc. etc. Only in the rarest, most dire or epic circumstances does the Stranger actually appear in person...like I said, more ghost in the machine kind of vibe to reflect the prominence in technology is today's day and age as the primary means of interaction. Just a thought...not sure if it works for y'all. -M

Personally, I would rather see a character based on one of our post-ers rather than a non-member based character.
If Hondobrode wants a Wonder Woman legacy character I say: "GO FOR IT!" (But I know that I don't make the final decisions.)

Or maybe we'll go with both. Champion on Earth 1 and Fury on Earth 2. Just think, you may get to read about TWO Wonder Woman legacies regularly in TOJ. I'm sure you're overwhelmed with excitement.

As of now, we have 16 characters! I am in the middle of coming up with designs for all of the new characters. Once those are done, I'll start writing the first arc. A new era of greatness begins for the Titans of Justice soon!

Maybe we can have an Earth-1/Earth-2 cross-over in which heroes are confused and battle one another? Maybe Fury and Champion can have a battle to the death?
