The Thing figure is pure Buscema but the rest of the figures look like John Romita. Good eye, ICC! The GCD has this: Pencils: John Buscema ?; John Romita (see notes) Inks: John Romita Indexer Notes Possible Romita pencils and inks per Nick Caputo, March 2015. Nick is uncertain if Romita only provided inking and alterations on Buscema pencils or did the whole cover on his own. Previous indexer credited Frank Giacoia in inks. --

The Thing figure is pure Buscema but the rest of the figures look like John Romita. While it was not uncommon for Romita to touch up the work of others in that era, Johnny and Sue's forms appear to be typical Buscema--especially Sue.

comicbookdb identifies the cover artists as Big John, Frank Giacoia and Romita Sr.

Still trying to see Romita's work in that cover. *shrugs*

That Reed Richards head is a Romita for sure.

Romita made many corrections to covers back when he was the art director.

Buscema and before him Romita came up with several really nice FF covers in those first couple years after Kirby left the series. I especially like Buscema's covers for FF #110, 112, 113, 118, 120, & 123.

I've read the Heritage description before, but man, Sue's face still looks so much like Buscema's work.

I've read the Heritage description before, but man, Sue's face still looks so much like Buscema's work. It didn't say ALL the faces. It might have been just Reed and Johnny. The interesting thing I see from the original art is that whatever Romita did, it was before Giaccoia inked it. Usually, you see the Romita change pasted up over the original cover work.
