Though I don't see much of difference between him and Dr Phosphorus, I like how with The Corrosive Man, comics addressed just how inconvenient it would be to be constantly burning everything you touch. Derek Mitchell gets his powers and then attempts to drive off in a truck. However, after starting the engine up, he melts through the seat, crashes to the floor of the vehicle, and the truck smashes into a lamp post. He then has to proceed on foot everywhere he goes and even then, he has to remember not to stand in one place too long else he'll burn through the floor and fall to the ground.   |
