I don't think anyone mentioned the Black Knight. He was in a serious love triangle with Sersi and Crystal. He must have had something going on.
I dislike the whole idea of that soryline as I think it misses the point of both Sersi and Crystal as characters. But it seems that superhero writers will always instinctively manufacture soap-opera, whether it fits the character or not.

It did seem forced. Also it seems that Crystal has been cast as a very needy and loose woman since she left the Torch.

"The name Freyja is also often used in the MU as another name for Odin's wife Frigga."
...and is also my oldest daughter's middle name.

"The name Freyja is also often used in the MU as another name for Odin's wife Frigga." ...and is also my oldest daughter's middle name. And it also happens to be the name of my "petite" 23 lb. (10.4 kg) Norwegian Forest Cat. Actually, that is normal healthy weight for her breed, which is one of the largest breeds of domestic cats.
(apologies for the thread de-rail, but while we were on the subject of Norse females...)
However, let me attempt to redeem myself for my de-rail by mentioning a female character that was constantly pursued by two different men throughout the entire history of her existence... Obviously, they found her extremely attractive, since the strip began in the 1930's, and on up to this very day.
I don't get it, but then again, I'm not a fictional character, and I don't particularly like canned spinach. But she must have had something that made her attractive...

Really? 4 love interests over more than 50 years of appearances is "a loose woman"? What does that make any of the male superheroes who are nearly all ranking up love interests in the dozens?
So far Johnny Storm > Quicksilver (marriage) > Dane Whitman (nothing actually even happened, just two people being attracted to each other, but neither actually making a move, because they are involved with other people) > Ronan (arranged marriage for political purposes)
Not counting that neighbour of Vision and Scarlet Witch because Maximus the Mad was mind-controlling them.
These boards sometimes...

50 years of appearances ? Does that translate into 50 years of existence , or just 15-20 years in Marvel time? Anyway, she had an affair with the real estate agent in the Vision/ Wanda mini series. I never read anywhere that they were " mind controlled", unless it was retconned since. Crystal also had a fling with Sentry. Also, when Engelhart wrote the FF starting in the 300's , he cast her as a person who wanted to break up Johnnys then marriage to Alicia. Sorry if my term " loose woman" offended you.

I only know these post-Kirby-FF Crystal stories and appearances from hearing about them online but it sounds like the character is repeatedly defined in terms of some relationship drama or which male partner she's having the drama with, not exactly the definition of "strong, independent, etc ."
