Not so much an acquisition as it is a re-finding. While searching the attic of my parents' home, my sister stumbled across a good portion of my old metal tin lunch boxes, including this one:  and this:  They're intact though show some aging. Both thermos are intact and whole. My only problem is, Mom being mom, stuck strips of masking tape to the tops and bottoms of both for a place to write my name. I'm hesitant to try and remove them in fear I may take some of paint detail with it. Though in the end, probably doesn't matter for I doubt I'll ever sell them. |

My lcs had a bunch of Funko Pops on clearance for $5 each, so I picked up a Lt. Starbuck form classic Battlestar Galactica...  -M I've never watched Battlestar, but I always thought this was a really cool Pop. |

So we both had the day off today, so we took a trip into Columbus, and after stopping at IHOP for the all you can eat pancake breakfast (yummy) and Half PRice Books, we went to Big Fun, one of my favorite vintage toy stores, to finish off my X-Mas gift and spend some holiday money. Here's what I got....  my first Micronauts piece of the year...The Aquatron, complete with box and instructions...  I may need to break out some batteries and play with this in the sink to see if the submarine propulsion unit that attaches to the bottom still works. a retro-Mego style Silver Age Green Arrow from a very short lived line DC did in the 90s...  and a pair of Flash Gordon figs from the toy line for the 90s animated series.... All Hail Ming the Merciless...  and Prince Talon the Hawkman...  you can check the classic comic purchase thread for the stuff I got at Half Price Books too... I was tempted because they had the Terraphaunt in the Micronauts line, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend, and if I splurged it would have been the only thing I got, so I went with a smaller Micronauts piece. They also had Aquaman and Batman form that DC Silver Age Heroes line and was tempted by them too, but eventually decided to get just 1 and picked Arrow because he is also one of my wife's favorites. -M |

WAs at Wallyworld picking up some stuff frot he dog and breezed through the toy department. I decided to pick up a few of the DC Imaginext blind bags and the Playskool Marvel blind bags for the fun of it. I got 3 of each...on the Super Friends front...  I got Aquaman, Black Manta and Sinestro. On the MArvel front...  I got Cap, Iron Patriot and the classic red & blue Spidey. -M |

Just picked up the New batman Adventures Etrigan and Klarion two pack  here's my full BTAS/NBA shelves updated  I still need the Mad Love two-Pack, and the Fire Fighting Batman to be up to date |

I don't worry over much about lines, I just get the pieces I want and don't buy pieces I don't just because I have other parts fo the line. I like too many different things to be a completionist about any of it. -M |

I'm not a completist, but if I already have a toy I'm more likely to feel the need to get another that I wouldn't necessarily get if it were the only one I'd own from that line.

I just got the Fateful issue of the Flash Flash 275  Interestingly, this issue has a house ad for itself inside it 
interesting how the magnifying glass in the ad blows up part of the cover and yet conceals a key figure in the cover's background |

I just got the greatest toy figure ever out of an Imaginext Blind Bag.... Disco Man complete with Disco Ball!   There was a Pumpkin Headed Demon Pirate in the set I was hoping for, but I got this instead and I can't decide if it's the best figure I have ever seen or the worst. Either way, I love it! -M |

Disco Man wasn't the only toy I got at Wallyworld... I picked up the new Justice League Action missile firing transforming Batmoblile...  The Imaginext Catwoman and transforming Cat cycle...  The Hot Wheels U-Wing Fighter from Star Wars Rogue One...  and the 18 inch tall Kong mega figure...  from the Kong of Skull Island line of Elite Forces exclusive Wal*Mart figures. There were some other JL Action, Imaginext, and Kong toys that were tempting, but I didn't want to spend all of my hunt money as I have a bunch of shows to go to at the end of this month and next month. -M |

I did pick up one other thing, there is a Ventage Video Game/Used DVD store/arcade on the other side of town that also carries some vintage toys and action fugures, and I stopped there today and got this...  the 2000 era style Batmobile from Corgi. I love the Corgi Bat vehicles and this was on his clearance table for about $5 so I snagged it. -M |
