Well I couldn't resist. I really missed owning these cards (they were a GREAT resource to me back in the day!), so I ordered another $20 box and opened this one. Really odd how the sorting was done for these. The top four packs ALL contained holograms, and only two other packs in the entire box had holograms in them. Also, I easily assembled a complete set of cards and nearly assembled a complete second set as well. Very little randomization, apparently. Not that I'm complaining! Can't wait to get these into a binder! Edit: Apparently, the hologram phenomenon I experienced wasn't an anomoly: Source: blogintomystery.com/2013/02/04/trading-card-set-of-the-week-dc-cosmic-cards-inaugural-edition-1992-impel/

Wow. I just realized now, 24 years later, what the one major drawback of this set was -- No Batman-related cards at all. Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, the rogues gallery, none of them appear anywhere in this set. Must have been because the Batman trading card rights had already been licensed to Topps for the Tim Burton films. No wonder these cards didn't catch on the way the Marvel ones did. Batman was their hottest franchise at the time!

Well, It's been a few weeks now and I've mostly been concentrating on my 80's re-collection (Rambo & The Force of Freedom in Particular) But today I decided to go ahead and pick up the Re-Action figures of CW's Flash and Reverse Flash Here they are together... here's Re-Action Flash with his larger counterpart from DCC Here's all my Barry Flashes together and here's Re-Action Reverse Flash with his many Counterparts (I'll be getting the DC Direct Pocket Heroes RF in a couple of days.) also coming soon will be the SDCC Exclusive Batman '66 Batgirl

So Batman '66's Batgirl arrived today while I was at work and honestly, while i'm happy to have her her color's a little too far over on the Hot pink side here's yvonn Craig in costume here's the pro to image from some of the various cons we've seen and here's my figure the body is fine but the gloves cape and head are way too bright here it is with the rest of the Batman '66 collection I have a sinking suspicion that the "correct" colored Batgirl will only be available as part of the upcoming 3-pack

You're right, GD. Batgirl's colors are way off. I can't say that I'm surprised though with this being a Mattel figure.

Ok So theres a thread for stuff you got based on DC related merch and there's one for Marvel related Merch This thread is dedicated to merch that didn't have it's origins in either company. (or in comics at all for that matter!) IE RAMBO I've Been Collecting the NECA Figures for quite awhile now and today the SDCC exclusive came in the mail.
all in all it's a good figure I like the snarling face as it looks really good when he's holding the machine gun a few people feel he should have come with the "correct weapons" (See the Coleco version below.) but I'm really glad he came with what he did. for one thing, If he came with the same weapons we'd have two figures with a Rocket Launcher and an m-60 and no Bow or AK-47 (well no "screen accurate" bow anyway) (Note that the little card is not plastic but actually paper card-stock) Package Back (I'm kinda hoping they'll eventually do the Black Tank-Top version they show in the Bottom Right) Here's his spiritual predecessor from the Coleco Force of Freedom Line (It always bothered me that none of the Coleco figures ever came with a Bow) and this of course is the standard NECA Rambo from FBPII I'll be Getting the Video Game version tomorrow I've been Holding off on it but now that I have these two I think it's about time I completed the set. (Eventually I still have to get the Coleco Firepower Rambo) in Addition to the Rambo Line I've also managed to pick up the Galoob 5" A-Team figures from the 1980's Here's Hannibal, Murdock and Faceman.....( I would LOVE to see NECA do THESE Guys!!!!) I'll be getting B.A. in the next few days..... Hopefully! Edit:Just got White Dragon from the Rambo Line (That red Ankle strap holding the throwing knife kept slipping off I tried to keep it on with scotch tape at first but it didn't work so well I finally got it to stay on with one of those clear rubber bands from a DCUC figure.) Here's the Force of Freedom with the NECA Rambos behind them

Well, That was probably the fastest delivery of an order I ever had on Ebay. I ordered Defenders of the Earth Flash Gordon Yesterday Morning and it just arrived now! (Guess he was tired of that other Flash getting all of the attention. I'm still waiting on B.A. (guess he didn't want to come in by air-mail.)

I was at Toys R Us Thursday and found the Batman '66 "To the Batcave playlet. Unfortunately I didn't have the money to get it at the time so I hid it behind a couple of other Batman sets hoping that it would still be there Friday. Well, Yesterday came along and I forgot to go back. Today i did go back and much to my surprise the box was exactly where I left it. and so...... of course I switched the heads on the Batman figure opting for the unmasked Bruce Wayne look (Just for Variety's sake) I gotta try to get down to the Model/Hobby shop and see if I can get a miniature "oak desk" to put the Shakespere bust and Batphone on and with Four Cans of Shark Repellant Batspray at Hand I elected to give one to Surfer Batman (Personally I though this was a let down i would have preferred each can to be labeled differently....Bat Sleep, Bat Wake, Bat-nesia AND Shark repellant) Of course I gave the Bat-Radio Bat Megaphone and Batzooka to Batman although maybe I should have given robin the Batzooka just so that Batman didn't get ALL the toys (so to speak)
