I got only a couple of issues of the Spectre's run in Adventure when they were coming out, but not due to any objections to the content. Distribution was spotty, and I could only get what I could find at the nearest 7-11's or trailer park camp stores. If I could have gotten them all, I would have because I enjoyed them. A few years ago I got the trade paperback and got to read the rest.

I had no connection to any sort of comic fandom at the time, but until now I had no idea that people were trashing the run like the comments from the convention above. It's only comics, for crying out loud. These comics didn't cause us all to turn into serial killers, cause the communists to win the war, or male pattern baldness. Those people needed to lighten up.
