It's also the first time in my life I've understood Warren Beatty's on-screen charisma: never had seen him as a young actor before and he was good-looking in a non-standard, almost un-Hollywood way - and also in great shape in a way not so common at that time, when it wasn't routine for actors to hit the gym regularly. ... You have to see Splendor in the Grass, his first film. He and Natalie Wood are perfect, visually and otherwise. Also check out the young Beatty in Lilith (with Jean Seberg and his later B&C co-star Gene Hackman).

I never had any interest in seeing Gibson's Jesus snuff film. But I will say that The End of the Innocence is the single most boring film I've ever attempted to watch. Worse than Superman Returns.
