Got some comic/geek/genre related stuff for Christmas, as well as some sundry stuff like clothes and tools. As for the geek related stuff... volumes 4 and 5 of Black Science... Vol 3 of the Silver Age Flash and Volume 1 of Aquaman Rebirth (I picked up volumes 2 and 2 at the Bell, Book & Comic warehouse sale so my wife ordered vol. 1 for me) a D&D 5E supplement I didn't have, Mordekainen's Tome of Foes... a 2019 Frazetta calendar... and the back to see what's included... and using a stock photo as it didn't arrive in time, is Vol. 1 of Dept H by Matt Kindt... and I picked up these 2 for my wife who loves D&D and children's books... -M

Santa didn't have a lot spare of whatever it is he uses to make things this year, which is fine as got what I wanted which was really just Judge Dredd the Complete Case Files #32 and some alcohol. Santa focused on the important stuff

I got a couple of new bowling shirts and that's pretty much it. I'm not much of a Christmas person. And what was done was largely getting Number 3 son ready to head to college next fall. Though we are trying to save money to go see Number 2 son in Africa also.

My wife took pity on my eyesight and got me a jeweler’s lamp/magnifying glass which might allow me to draw without sticking my nose right on the page. We’ll see how that works.
Also, socks.

Just clothing. I didn't want anyone buying any comics stiff because of the high risk of their duplicating what I already have. And I didn't have the energy to send any links with things I wanted.

The only "geek" stuff I got was a copy of George R. R. Martin's "Fire and Blood", the first half of the two-part history of the Targaryens in Westeros starting 300 years before A Song of Ice and Fire series, and a $25 gift certificate from my sister for my local LCS.
My wife got me some clothes (along with the book), my parents gave me money (which will either get spent on comics or Magic The Gathering), and my sister also got me a growler full of Snowbound Cinnamon hard apple cider from a local microbrewery (I had some last night after most of the folks had left our house, and it is FANTASTIC!). My older daughter got me an air freshener for my car that reads "Driver picks the music, passenger shuts their cakehole", which is something I say to her all the time when she tries to change the radio station in my car (it's a riff on a line from Supernatural, which is "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts their piehole".)

Santa was very kind to me this year and brought:
Weird Adventure Comics 431, 433, 439 (Fleisher & Aparo Spectre) Star Spangled War Stories 139 (Enemy Ace) Captain Marvel 26 (1st Thanos cover and 2nd appearance overall) Two Spider-Man T-shirts Spider-Man slippers (yay!) Ian Curtis/Joy Division T-shirt
My brother received Alan Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing which is a staggering six volumes. We've read only a smattering of it, so looking forward to him passing it along when he finishes.

Captain Marvel #26? Suh-weet!
I love the look of the art in those little D&D books!
I used a little of some Santa money I received and snagged the following '70s comics on sale... Dead Of Night #11 & Marvel Spotlight #26 (Scarecrow) and Showcase #97-99 (Power Girl). Very happy with the condition and price.

Very happy with the condition and price. Add Hulk #177 & 178 to above. Never thought I'd find affordable solid copies (and never read either before)... thanks Lone Star! Also nice when they list something with actual pics and not the stock images.
