Umm...I think you may have missed a few developments. Janet is not on the current team, no, not on any kind of regular basis, though she did resurface in the most recent issue on some kind of undercover mission. The current Avengers book isn't really focused on the members private lives. Yeah, I got the impression it was pretty action oriented atm... Just wondering if it was mentioned. Nope, never mentioned. I didn't even know it was a thing.

The only minor continuity conflict I noticed in any of those books was that Captain Britain was still sporting a beard (as he has been for a couple of years now) in Avengers but was shown as clean shaven in a cameo in Uncanny X-Men. But I guess the man is entitled to change his look occasionally... Do they mention (or not) that Tony Stark and Janet Van Dyne are dating in Avengers? (That's the sort of thing that often gets missed these days).. or is Wasp not really in the book right now? I read last for No Surrender. That question brought me back to the '80s, when they did date for an issue while Hank was in jail! So they resumed the romance since?

Just recently.. with the new Dan Slott written book. I don't recall ever seeing them be a thing before in the main stream MU (maybe a date here and there)

The relationship ended when he embarrassingly revealed that he was Iron Man. I’m surprised they remained on speaking terms after that little subterfuge. After the several decades of soap opera drama in these comics, we get the impression that everybody dated everybody else at some point.

I think I'm going to get some of my "cross-pollination" wishes with the forthcoming "Hunted" storyline (The Amazing Spider-Man).
