Our Old Hall of Justice Forum of which ran faithfully for many years by Power (Dr. Poison) Guy and I wanted to share some stats of our old Forum. I went into it for the last time on September 30th to gather some stats about this forum of ours.
As of September 30th, 2014
We had 17,636 Threads, 192,845 Posts, and 2,109 Members - most of them hardly visited us at all. I know that several of us came over here and be part of CLASSIC COMICS FORUM.
For me, I was a member by the name of JLA SilverAgeFan - now called by DOCTOR FATE here and I had 6,784 Posts in my 3 plus years there. I was a member first until Power Guy made me a Moderator of Everything Else Section and for a year and half I faithfully checked members birthdays to make sure that we celebrated every (active) member and make that they get recognized within our community and I was happy to do this by creating a new thread for that purpose.
Then, later on I took on more responsibility as being a full Moderator and I had fun creating threads from Bleeding Cool, Newsarama, and Comic Book Resources reporting everything I can about DC COMICS doings.
One of my pleasant memories of being a part of that group is when our Administrator Power (Dr.Poison) Guy ran two game of the Greatest JLA Team Game of which the idea is to get down to 16 Members and I had a blast voting up and voting down of various characters that we all complied over a series of days to create that list and Power Guy day in and day out checked to make sure that we did not voted again in the space of 4 hours and I got caught twice for doing that and got kicked out of the game for 24 hours!
I was mad for not checking my time.
And, reading over 100 Titans of Justice Stories that were created by Scotty2Hotty and Power Guy ... and our late comer justicefreak ... those were great stuff to read on Saturday AM. And, I even wrote part of one story Titans of Justice Story #100 of which I was responsible for writing a story of me (The Flash V) battling Sub Zero with the aid of Hot Flash and I even went in our humble forum and copied the story for my very own personal copy. I treasured it always.
Anyway, I had a great time over there and I was the oldest member there and now a part of this community of which I discovered that we even had members older than me!
So, having said that and what is your pleasant memories about being part of the HALL OF JUSTICE Forum?
