I remember the revival of the $ 2 bill in '76.
My dad was in management with a meat packing company.
The union was getting antsy pushing for a pay raise.
At the company sponsored picnic, all the workers got paid in $ 2 to help emphasize how much they were actually making.
Believe it or not, that stopped the uprising !

I remember the new 1976 $2 bills and had one given to me, so I guess we must've been in Washington state that year. I remember some Bi-Centennial stuff (had a stars and stripes frisbee) and the King Tut exhibit traveling around, then we had the 25th jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in Canada (got an aluminum token coin in school) and an anniversary for Captains Cook & Vancouver 'discovering' the area (tin Coca-Cola serving tray with the ship Discovery on it).

I remember those too ... and collected them also.
