SO many to choose from. but I think I simply must go with this one: it's got volcanoes, AND giant monsters (one of whom shoots beams out of his nostrils!).

I've always loved this Ross Andru cover.... That's all Romita. Obviously so. But though the finished cover is all Romita, the layout was by Gil Kane.

Week 31 of my secret classic cover personal challenge! I had to bow out of last week's topic, since I didn't have any qualifying entries in my pool of available covers. It looks like there are a maximum of 28 covers remaining in this project, but probably 26 or fewer.

1955, Joe Maneely (with Carl Burgos backgrounds, according to GCD). An early-ish example of an "end of the world" cover--or at least, the end of NYC!
