And one last SA Marvel one..
Tales of Lockjaw following the format of the Watcher and the Wasp stories. Lockjaw teleports around and observes or is tangentially connected to a bunch of unrelated stories.
Although there was a Lockjaw series not too long ago, (written by a guy I kind of know) that I will get around to reading someday.

Back in the late '70s, Roy Thomas proposed a Jaxxon (the green space-rabbit that I have as my avatar) series spinning off of Marvel's Star Wars series. The suggestion came as part of a letter that Roy wrote to the then-current author of the SW comic, Archie Goodwin, which was printing in the comic's letters page. Given the fact that apparently George Lucas despised the character and that Marvel had been told by Lucasfilm to stop using him in their comics, I'm sure Thomas' suggestion was tongue-in-cheek. But man, the idea that Roy could've helmed a Jaxxon spin-off series or even just a 4-issue mini-series is, for this fan at least, one of the great "what could of beens" of the late 70s. Or maybe a spin-off series featuring the whole gang of Star-Hoppers would've worked better...

Star Wars was the first comic book I read regularly, and I started at the beginning, so the Star-Hopper characters were part of what I liked about the book. They have sort of a "current Guardians of the Galaxy meets Island of Misfit Toys" vibe about them, and a series with them, or just Jaxxon, would have been interesting. As for Lucas not liking Jaxxon, he gave us the Ewoks, Jar-Jar Binks, and Porgs, so he has no ground to stand on.

Lucas just wishes he had thought of a 6 foot tall green rabbit. I found the Peanut Butter but where's the Jelly, George?

Don’t forget he saved the universe ... A series Roy Thomas ought to have written but never did: a spinoff from the Kree-Skrull War.
All those Golden Age heroes didn't actually dissolve/fade away; they were teleported away by .... someone (maybe even the Kree Supreme Intelligence). They're out there now, thinking they're the originals, believing they can't get back to Earth, and manipulated into championing a cause on an intergalactic stage they barely understand.

It could work if you have the right team behind it.
