The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this week's theme was Roy G. Bivolo, the Rainbow Raider! For some reason, I thought he had appeared as a Batman villain once or twice in the early Silver Age. Because he sure seems like a Grade-Z Silver Age villain to me! I was surprised to find out he was a Flash villain who first appeared in Flash #286 in 1980! I noticed the theme for this week's contest this morning, but I was kind of busy today (I'm in Idaho for a few days) and didn't get a moment to post a cover until just now. As we already have an Infantino Rainbow Raider cover, I'm going to submit this Aparo cover. Which also features Double X, one of my favorite characters from the lower tiers of the Batman Rogues Gallery!  |
