The only Canadian comics I have read have been Nelvana and Captain Canuck. I liked both. I seen them in Victoria a lot and I really like Nelvana; and later liked Captain Canuck during my later (in my 30's) years.

I'm think that was a different kind of cat... Here's the entire Comely Comics output of Captain Canuck, minus and #15 that there were a very small number of printed much later. (Saluting patriotically while whistling The Lumberjack Song) Not the Great White North Theme?

Frew Publications, who publish The Phantom in Australia, have recently revived a number of the 1940s characters in a comic called Gaintsize Phantom. This include Sir Falcon, The Phantom Ranger, Planetman, the Shadow (not the pulp character), Catman, Crimson Comet, Panther, and the Raven.
