Rampage debuted in 1977, reprinting The Defenders and Nova: This was the 34th and final issue: Of the weekly run, yes. Fortunately, it was relaunched as Rampage Monthly a few weeks later. And improved dramatically as a result!

Yep, here's the first issue: It ran until 1982. Final issue cover here:

Funny, I don't remember Rampage at all. Interesting.

It's interesting that some of the colours on that Howard Chaykin front cover had been corrected for the British publication from how they appeared on the American first issue... Darth Vader is coloured to look closer to his black armour, rather than green, and Han's tunic is blue/black, rather than brown (though he's still not in the correct black waistcoat and white shirt). Leia is still wearing entirely the wrong colour outfit (just a different incorrect colour), and Luke and Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsabers are still coloured incorrectly as red instead of white/blue.

It's good that the colours were corrected. I'd love a complete run of that title! Mighty World of Marvel morphed into Marvel Comic with its 330th issue (1979):

It's good that the colours were corrected. I'd love a complete run of that title! Probably unsurprisingly, I have a complete run of the U.S. Star Wars series. The only issues of Star Wars Weekly or The Empire Strikes Back Monthly that I have in my collection nowadays are the ones with UK exclusive stories in them, and a handful of issues that are important to me (like Star wars Weekly #18, which was my first issue of Marvel's SW comic).

Hopping back to 1977 briefly, The Complete Fantastic Four was launched: It ended after 37 issues, the FF returning to the pages of Mighty World of Marvel.

I have seen them in second hand stores ... believe me I did seen them and I was with my dear friend Jeff who happen run a comic book store back then. I know that they finished publication in the early 80's and all that ... but they did have some issues floating around in the 90's and seeing them sold too.

Secondhand stores may well have had them, but I don't recall London comic shops like Mega City Comics in Camden, Gosh in Bloomsbury, or Fantastic Store in the old Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street carrying much in the way of UK reprint back issues in the 90s. They were much more oriented towards back issues of American comics, which in those pre-eBay, pre-online shopping days were much harder to find over here than they are today.

We've reached my birth year: 1980! Anyone know anything about this one? I absolutely must share this one: This looks good: I have one issue of this, found at a car boot sale (I'd love to find more):

That last one has the cover painting for Marvel Super Action Magazine, from their black & white magazine line. GCD indicates that the Punisher and Dominic Fortune stories are ones that were done for Marvel preview #2, rather than the 2 that appeared in Marvel Super Action. The Moon Knight story was from Hulk Magazine #15. Interestingly enough, I see that the cover for Marvel Preview #2 was used for Savage Action #2.
Looking through the cover gallery at GCD, I see that they repurposed covers from Marvel magazines, including Marvel Previews, then switch to comic book covers (including Moon Knight #1), then go back to the magazine line.
