I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and was even surprised to learn that a Damage Control television series had originally been planned for a 2016 release. This just seems like a perfect choice for a television series that would contrast heavily with the other DC and Marvel shows while feeling a little more like the procedural shows that viewing audiences are far more comfortable with. The right people behind this could make it Law and Order meets The Office...with superheroes.

I thought I'd read about it a few years ago.
I agree, the premise would be an interesting one. It'd be unique. Quite honestly, with all the MCU TV shows on the air (so to speak), I need a unique premise to hook me. Not another New York-based hero battles villain, but something with a different flavour.

Suspect the pilot underwhelmed. Probably messed with it too much and it didn't work. The fact that Powerless, which debuted in 2017 and was cancelled after 9 episodes, bombed, no one wanted to have a similar show out. The premise would be great, though you'd need an AOS budget to do massive clean-up scenarios properly. It was a good workplace comedy, in the comics; but, it also used cameos that would be harder to pull off on tv (maybe lesser heroes).

I wonder if Damage Control's appearance in the Spider-Man movie had something to do with the TV-series getting scrapped or if their appearance was supposed to tie in with the planned TV-series.
