Scott McCloud and Raina Telgemaier have collaborated on a new graphic novel coming out April of 2025 called The Cartoonist's Club.  I'm looking forward to this. I've not yet sampled any of Raina's work (I'm not the target demo for it), but I devour any McCloud I can get my hands on, so this will be a good excuse to sample her work as well. -M |

Only comics tangential, Paul Fricke's excellent Alex Toth in Depth podcast is being rebranded as Toth-Centric, because Paul has been sponsored by the Toth family who are working on preserving Alex's legacy and Paul has done a lot to aid that cause with his podcasts. The old episodes will still be archived on youtube to watch, and the channel is the same, just with a new name. New podcasts/videos will be coming soon. They've also put out a Toth-Centric and What Would Toth Do? t-shirt to help fund their efforts at the Toth website here. Here's the first In Depth ep if you haven't seen it before (or want to subscribe to the channel). I've interacted with Paul a lot since I discovered the channel and he is one hella nice guy and very knowledgeable. -M |

I'm intrigued at the new Star Wars comics are going to be after Return of the Jedi... perhaps we'll see the OT cast interact with the Mandalorian? They are starting with the battle of Jakku, and promised a new bad guy. I'll be interesting to see how it related (if at all) to some of the novels |

Mark Waid and Dan Mora, the team behind the Batman/Superman World's Finest book, will be the new creative team on Justice League Unlimited, and new JL book launched as part of the All In initiative. It will feature a new Watchtower that seems it will be the HQ for both the new League and the JSA. Whether they will both be part of the same book is unknown.
Mora will also be the new artist on Superman, as he regularly does 2 books a month and has done 3 at times before. Likely means he is leaving WF though.

The license for D&D and Magic the Gathering Comics has moved to Dark Horse. I hadn't seen anything announced from IDW in a while, so I was wondering if the license had not been renewed, now I have an answer. -M |

Add Blue Falcon/Dynomutt and Herculoids to the list of new Dynamite series.  and for the folk younger than me-Captain Planet and Ben 10 too, neither of which I have any attachment to, but glad to see them for folks who are fans of those properties. -M |
