I can't remember who the "recipient" of the 'prank' was, but lighter fluid in an inhaler could be lethal, I'm sure. At the very least, it must have caused major issues for the person it happened to. In no sane world is that anywhere near being a prank. It's cruelty.
I don't go around doing pranks, but there are some things you just do not tamper with: drinks, medication, clothing, etc.

I suppose that any wrestlers who try to complain about hazing, evil pranks and the like are seen as 'spoilsports'.
I remember watching one interview (can't recall who) where someone complained that a certain wrestler didn't like drinking alcohol. So what? People have preferences. Why must everyone be from a "cookie-cutter machine"? Due to my job, I don't drink alcohol much. If I meet someone at lunchtime, it has to be orange juice or Coca-Cola, I will not endanger lives by drinking alcohol. If I know I have a few days off, I'll have a wine or Foster's lager. But even when you tell some you can't drink, they see you as a dud.
I suppose a wrestler who didn't attend "Wrestler's Court" or complained about having a bucket of cold water thrown over them would be just dismissed. Well, wrestling is unique, but it's still a job. And there should be a safe working environment.
For me, the keyword with a prank or joke is CONSENT. I mean, you can poke fun at a colleague about something, but if he/she says "Can we stop talking about that now, it's become a sore point?", then you do that immediately. But I suppose wrestlers would take such a comment as them being able to "up the ante" with their pranks.

Lance Storm got a bit of grief for not drinking and CM Punk got a lot of grief for his Straight Edge beliefs, when he came to the WWE. Valentine's target survived; but, did get sick. I've not been involved in anything but harmless pranks, usually that would make people smile. The worst would be participating in a prank on a cashier, at a store in which I worked. The assistant manager used the receiving phone to call into the store and ask the cashier to page his secretary, Amanda Huggenkiss (say it slowly, if it isn't obvious). She paged it like three times. Later she came back to the break room, which was off the receiving area. We asked if she ever found the person she was paging. She said no and still didn't get it. I told her to say the name again, very slowly. She just said, "You guys!" and started laughing. She still had one of on Mo, though...

If Hulk Hogan had never joined the WWF, do you think Vince McMahon would have had someone else in mind to a) get the momentum going, and b) main event WrestleMania?

To me, Vince would had a hard time finding anyone to headline Wrestlemania and I just feel that the monies generated by Hogan would be a disaster in the making and WCW would be King of Wrestling. Losing Hogan in the early part of Wrestlemania History would had KILLED WWF.

He wanted Kerry Von Erich and the World Class tv show, for the Dallas Metro market; but, Fritz wanted a merger and they couldn't agree to terms. Kerry had the look and was a more versatile worker; but, wasn't as strong on promos. Plus, he probably would have self-destructed earlier. There was a reason he only got the NWA title for 3 weeks.

Random thought: my dream match around 1995 in WCW would have been Meng vs. Sgt. Craig Pittman vs. Vader. That would have made Freddy Krueger vs. Jason Voorhees look like a ballet contest.

I think another dream match of mine would be Roddy Piper vs. Ultimate Warrior. I couldn't have predicted a winner for that.
Heel vs. heel encounters were rare during the Federation Era, but I was always keen to see Sgt. Slaughter vs. Earthquake. With Jimmy Hart and General Adnan having an encounter at ringside!

Piper vs Warrior one should be a time-limit one and no one is a winner ... call it a DRAW. Slaughter vs Earthquake ... pick em and I don't care who wins in this one and it's should be interesting who wins in this one and you need a WINNER at the end and this match has no time limit. Jimmy Hart and General Adnan ... Adnan would win hands down and Hart needs his megaphone badly to ward off General Adnan here.

Cool!
Used to do a lot of fantasy booking as a kid (we didn't use the term booking as I doubt I had any awareness of booking back then; wrestling fan fiction would have been a more apt term).
Mega Powers vs. Road Warriors came up a lot. Undertaker vs. Warlord was one of mine.
I remember one of my choices was Natural Disasters vs. Nasty Boys. Didn't think it'd happen as Jimmy Hart managed them both, but after the Disasters turned face in 1992, they did actually beat and defeat the Nasty Boys during one televised match.

A couple of my dream matches:
1) Late-80s Ric Flair vs early-2000s Eddie Guerrero. Eddie cheating as much as Flair but getting cheered while Flair gets booed, and Flair's reactions to same, would be great entertainment.
2) A three-way tough guy match between Greg Valentine, Ron Garvin, and William Regal.

Ooh, I can feel the bruises already in your second choice, Calidore. Ouch!
Late 80s Flair vs. early-2000s Guerrero would have main evented a PPV, I'm sure.

What about the worst match?
Colossal Kongs vs. Gobbledy Gooker in a 60-minute iron man handicap match - which ends in a double-DQ.
