It just occurred to me that Gemma Chan would make a great Leiko Wu or Fah Lo Suee in the MoKF movie, but I suppose she'll be tied up now doing the Eternals.

She already doing two different characters (she was also Dr. Minerva in Captain Marvel), so why not a third?

Psylocke. She even has the British accent already.

Psylocke. She even has the British accent already. You're both right, I'm being too conservative. I think she should play Leiko Wu and Fah Lo Suee in the MoKF.

Now that’s starting to sound like a proper comic-book continuity! Leiko and Fah Lo Suee can be time-displaced clones who resemble a purple-haired mutant from an alternate universe!

I’m excited for Shang-Chi and intrigued by the new Doctor Strange (which is supposed to be a full blown horror film), but I don’t care about much else.
I’m not sure why so many on the internet are excited for a PG-13 Blade reboot. A bloodless, goreless vampire killing movie? Meh. Not interested.
This is why I think Disney/Marvel should start their own R-rated branch like how Disney used to release their more mature content under the Touchstone banner. Then you can roll out a Blade movie, a Punisher movie, etc without having to neuter the hell out of them.
Hadn’t seen any news about a Moon Knight series. Will definitely keep an eye on that.
Overall, I’m just kinda over the MCU after the conclusion of the Thanos saga.
I could easily see comic book movie fatigue start to set in hard. Disney/Marvel won’t have the charismatic fan favorites like RDJ as Iron Man or Chris Evans as Cap to carry them anymore. And hell, it’s looking like they won’t have Tom Holland’s Spider-Man moving forward either.
Out of the main staple MCU characters, The Guardians of the Galaxy are the only ones left with that kind of appeal IMO.

There's also the Hulu shows - Tigra & DazzlerHoward the Duck, M.O.D.O.K., Hit-Monkeyand Son Of Satan aka HelstromEtc etc...... I know these are not MCU, it's just crazy so many Marvel shows are coming out. And at this point I still haven't seen the 2nd season of Runaways, anything past the 1st season of Legion, I've only watched half of the 1st season of Cloak & Dagger, a few episodes of The Gifted.... And thats not even talking about how I still need to catch up on non-Marvel shows like Preacher, Happy, Sabrina, Riverdale, The Boys, DCs Legends of Tomorrow - there's too much comic content to watch!

Out of the main staple MCU characters, The Guardians of the Galaxy are the only ones left with that kind of appeal IMO. Potentially losing Holland is a huge blow, as it was apparent after what happened in Far From Home that Marvel Studios was pushing him to be the next big leader of the entire ordeal. Even without the heavy hitters with Iron Man and Captain America, I have to give Fiege and crew the benefit of the doubt. I never would have thought Iron Man would become the icon he has become in the last ten years. Never would have thought the same about Thor either. They made people care about Guardians of the Galaxy. Ant Man got two films that were decent. The MCU still has a huge treasure trove over stories within the comics landscape to pull from. Also, the Fox properties are back in the fold, and those are full of characters that even the casual movie goer can be familiar with. I can see the skepticism after the Infinity Saga ended on such a high, but I'm thinking that things will largely be just as good. Also, I'd like a dark Blade film, but I'm not sure if he is connected to the MCU you can do that. Even if it's released as a film under a subsidiary, if it's connected, the tone won't jive with the established films. Sadly, Disney probably has to bank on the ignorant casual movie goer that assumes anything "Marvel", is okay for children to attend. At the same time, Deadpool made bank, and I don't think the casual movie goer still doesn't realize that Deadpool wasn't under the same umbrella as the Disney properties at the time. Maybe they could just release a rated R Blade film, and if he does appear in other movies the tone of his actions will have to be adjusted accordingly.

To stick even closer to the comics, I posit that every single female character in the Marvel Universe barring Aunt May should be played by one actress, but wearing different wigs.

Without the big three, I'm afraid I might bail on the MU films. Captain Marvel just doesn't do it for me.

They could start a GregLand-verse, where all the women were completely identical and all wore the same fixed, and inappropriate to the moment, expression

Ms. Marvel should be a movie.
This is a very... '70s-centric slate of films, which makes me very happy. Hopefully Stage 5 is all Skull the Slayer, Captain Savage, and the Scarecrow/Straw Man.

This is going to be a weird phase. I'm not passionate about any of these characters. GotG Vol 1 was good but Vol 2 was either too much the same or not good. Thor 4 could be good if it's like 3. The others... eh.
I hope they are going to build a larger story in the background to take us up to FF and X-Men. That's the most I hope for this next group of films.

Im afraid that there's no going back to the serious Thor of the first 2 movies, which I liked. I liked the third but now he's the joke of the MU.
