Jaime Hernandez reminds us that straight superheroes don't have a monopoly on kissing in comic books.

I've always loved Red Sonja's rejoinder there:
"For what? For not letting you kiss them?"

Sorry Spider-Man fans... No need to apologise...well, not to me, at least. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan and I thought Sins Past was a great story. Real "edge of your seat" stuff as it came out month by month. I know not everyone agrees with me though.

The cover makes Supergirl the recipient of some undesired contact, in keeping with the many "sexually imperiled Supergirl" covers of the era: But the interior shows her as the instigator of a hug to a gang leader who doesn't appear to be into her. Worse, her partiality sparks another skirmish in a gang war.

The reason Supergirl's stolen kisses cost lives is that she simultaneously crushes their ribs and sucks the air out of their lungs.
But you couldn't put that in a 1970s comic.

Just to be sure, we all agree that in this page Ms Marvel is raped and impregnated by her future son, right?

I have thus far stayed away from posting any Rapey type scans but the following scan qualifies. The original Ghost Rider drugged and abducted Mockingbird and kept her in the past while she was Married to Hawkeye.
