I wasn't sure it could either so I decided to do a Test with my Batman 1992 Cowl   and here's a side view.  Now the current mask Grant wears might be a little different (they sell copies of it online but it doesn't include the neck covering.) It could be that Grant has two separate pieces. One to wear as a full mask and the other that can be worn "off" as a collar |

I liked the midseason finale. It felt like every character has progressed since the beginning of the season. Joe continues to standout as the cast's emotional anchor, especially when You Know Who shows up at the end. Patty is pretty great, too. It's good to see a female character on DC TV that's more defined than just being quirky/melodramatic arm candy that exists in the hero's orbit. She's no Jessica Jones, but she's a start. Even Jay got to have a personality this week.

The Earth 2 storyline is going great. The only thing I think sucks is that they killed off Ronnie Raymond too fast. Granted the new Firestorm is cool too, but I feel Ronnie getting killed off (again) was unfair. The Flash series is starting to sound like South Park.

Seriously, I'm hoping as the season progresses, we find Ronnie is still alive. Since a body was never found (again), I wouldn't be a bit surprise if Ronnie was trapped on Earth 2 since his Firestorm separated in the eye of the wormhole storm.
Anyaway, that's what I've been thinking since the start of Season Two.

Episode 34 "The Reverse-Flash Returns"
This was a good episode. I hope the gang keeps an eye on Harry 2 now that the Turtle is dead. Jay was the only one that pointed a finger at Harry aloud, so I hope the rest of the gang doesn't act clueless (again). To be fair though, Harry's only acting behind their backs working for Zoom to save his Daughter. I'm not a parent, but I understand how a parent woud do anything to save their child.
I liked how Harry Explained how Eobard Thawne still exists, even after Eddie killed himself. The way Harry explains kind of reminds me of "Doc Brown" in the Back To The Future films. The Reverse Flash is one of the most popular Flash villains so I'm noy surprised the writers found a way to bring him back. The part that sucks though I feel that Eddie's death was all for nothing. However I do like that it's Matt Letscher as Reverse Flash and not Tom Cavanagh as Wells/Reverse Flash in Season One. It makes the character fresh in some ways, I did like the scene between Harry & the captured Eobard, it felt very weird to see them together.
We also learn that here on Earth 1, Jay's doppelganger is Hunter Zolomon which in the cmics is Zoom's real name. I don't think he is Zoom that is in this Season, but I think the writers just wanted to tease us a bit. Patty leaves Central City but learns Barry's secret. I hope they bring her back soon. Wally's still acting like a bit of a jerk, but he & Iris are getting closer. I think it will be awhile before he becomes Kid-Flash, but I think it will happen sometime later on. After all he still hasn't got to know Barry yet so when they become friends, I'm sure they will slowly go into the Kid-Flash storyline at some point.

This week's episode was one of the best! The images shown during the trip to earth-2, Barry and Cisco geeking out upon their arrival, Killer Frost and Deathstorm, the entire episode start to finish was awesome!

I'm glad this was not a stand alone episode...there was so much to love in this episode that it would have been a shame if they crammed it all into one episode. |

Okay in the comic books written by Geoff Johns, Zoom is Hunter Zolomon. In the TV show, Jay Garrick showed Dr. Snow that his doppelganger in this Earth is Hunter Zolomon. Now perhaps the Hunter Zolomon of Earth 2 is Zoom. I wonder who he would look like though?
Oh shit ! Imagine if the Hunter Zolomon of Earth 2 is Eddie Thawne of Earth 2. Holy smokes. That's a mindblowing reveal if it is him.
