bert already posted this one on page 1. I'm actually headed to Japan (for ~3 weeks) this evening! so when it's time to vote. . . any votes I may get this week, can just count to Jesse, since I won't be online to post anyways next week.

Are we sure that's not just Uncle Elmer out at the hunting cabin?

Not a perfect cover choice I know, but this was the most recent Sherlock Holmes (mixed with some of Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos) inspired comic I read and it's pretty damn good.

I'm waiting for someone to just pull the trigger on Holmes and Watson living together and do A Study in Pink.

I think this cover is too recent to qualify.

Who's the artist on that World of Sherlock Holmes cover, anyone know? Luis Dominguez I like the look of it, I'll have to look out for more of his work.

I like the look of it, I'll have to look out for more of his work. Luis Dominguez did lots of covers for DC in the 70s. Mostly the scary books, including some Swamp Thing and Phantom Stranger (the closest he seems to have come to superhero material), but also westerns and war and some period adventure stuff like Robin Hood and the 3 Musketeers. I didn't like his work much when it was contemporary, but these days I'm rather appreciative of his talents.
