The story is that the Avengers go to save Wanda from the Sentinels in Australia. Not the greatest cover I know, but the days of me surfing for just the right cover are way behind me.

Ultraa, an alien youth rocketed to Earth-Prime after the death of his race and raised by Australian aborigines.

What's funny to me is that the northwest coast of Australia would have to be the worst place to launch an invasion. Rugged coast, leading into inhospitable desert, and 100s of miles from any target of strategic importance.
(And why are the Japanese labelling their headquarters with English signage?)
And why are the Japanese wearing swastikas?

It's really true that everything in Australia is out to kill you.

If someone posts a cover with a character eating a vegemite sandwich and drinking goon that’s the default winner.

It's really true that everything in Australia is out to kill you. Great art, great cover, but that baby kangaroo looks like a mouse!

No, no; they have to be travelling in a fried out combie, on a hippie trail, head full of zombie..... I will automatically cast my vote for anyone who comes up with a comic book cover with Yahoo Serious!

You mean like when Subway introduced a vegemite sub, which bombed bigger than Hiroshima? I had an uncle who was a soil engineer and worked on a project in Australia. He brought back some vegemite. Nasty stuff! Remember Matilda Bay Wine Coolers? Touted as Australian but made by Miller Brewing Co. in the States. Actually, it was the only wine cooler I actually liked.

My middle son was in the international dorm when he studied abroad in Wales. They would get together every week or two on one night and have food from their homelands. One of the people there was Australian and had vegemite sent from home. He said it was vile. I've not had it personally. My sons contribution from Idaho was finger steaks. Mmmmm...breaded deep fried meat.
