Sounds reasonable, but Adam would still be the official winner.

I noticed adamwarlock2099 did not vote in this weeks contest...shouldn't there be a rule where you are not eligible to win if you have not voted? And since the vote was so close, if adamwarlock2099 had placed a vote the contest could have actually broken the initial tie and went to another poster.

Friday sounds good to me. I suggest we pick a time, maybe 48 hours after foxley's talley post, and then give it to Mister Spaceman, the runner up. Sounds like a plan. So in this case, if by Friday 3:30am Pacific time/6:03am Eastern time (and sorry I don't know the European equivalents)***, if Adam has not surfaced then if Mister Spaceman would kindly set up the next contest, that would be much appreciated. ETA: I'll message MisterSpaceman. ***or just sometime on Friday, don't want to inconvenience MisterS.

After all these years of playing this game I'm not sure there is a rule regarding the winner going Mia. I personally think that waiting til Friday is reasonable. It happens very infrequently, once or twice IIRC. fwiw here's one example of how you've noted it in the past, Icc. classiccomics.org/post/99503/thread

LOL, yes, I vaguely remember that. You have a good memory! I remember because it was a debacle. We should have just waited for someone to break the tie like always.

Sorry guys and gals. The new job has really cut into my internet time. I honestly forgot I had even participated last week. Thanks for the votes though.
I really wouldn’t have participated if I didn’t think I could check in at the end of the contest. I’ll try to be more conscious of that in the future.
