Normally I don't mention my runners-up, but this time I have to say that the image on the Laugh cover posted by pinkfloydsound17 (art by Harry Lucey) almost got my vote. It's so lovely - the composition, the figures, the expressions on each character's face and even the patterns on the blouses worn by Veronica and Betty are so perfectly rendered - but those damn thought bubbles ruin it for me. Yeah, I know they're the whole point of the gag, but without them that would be a picture I'd be willing to frame and put on the wall.
