This was a tough one for me. Some really good covers posted. While I'm generally a sucker for painted covers, of which there were several, it didn't work out that way this time. My final front-runners were Prince Hal, MDG, foxley, Kirby101, outsider, robot1a (that Romita cover!!!) And Farrar.
But in the end, I followed my father's advice, as he told me way back when I was a little boy--
"Son, if you are ever faced with a decision involving Kilts and Jerry Lewis.... ALWAYS go for Fritzi Ritz... Every time!"
So my choice by a just a nose is:
Farrar
For the hilariously killer Bushmiller cover... THAT one is definitely going on my want list!

Mark Twain even went so far as to blame Scott for the Civil War! Twain hated Scott, and Romanticism in general, which is why he named the wrecked steamboat in Huck Finn the Walter aScott. He hated Cooper, too; his parody of Cooper is a scream. I love Twain and agree with him on Cooper; but, I love Ivanhoe. |

I have this week's results, just in time for Hogmanay.
Nothing is worn under kirby101's kilt. It's all in perfect working order (and they have 5 votes to prove it).
Forming their own clan on 3 votes each are batsywatsy, outsider, and Farrar.
Finding 2 votes in their sporrans are EdoBosnar, Mister Spaceman, and tarkintino.

I also love it because Moe has his kilt on wrong, with the pleats in front.
