If I'd remembered brutalis' poll, then I wouldn't be surprised by the results, but since I didn't remember it, I am surprised. I'd expected one of the Marvel titles to win. I've read quite a few of MTO and MTIO. Very hit and miss, I found. With BATB and DCCP, the "batting average" was better. Not sure any of them are as good as Scooby-Doo Team-Up, though. Scooby-Doo Team-Up is on my to do list.

Claremont's Marvel Team Up is some of his best comics. The issue with the building fire starring Spidey & Luke Cage is an all time Marvel classic. I'd definitely put it up in the all time Marvel greatest hits. Marvel Two in One was one of my favorites and definitely one that got me hooked when I was a kid back in the late 70s especially the Project Pegasus storyline and you also have Starlin's conclusion to the first big Thanos epic in the one Annual. Gerber's issues are great too. I just loved Ben Grimm's personality in this series and even the follow up Thing solo series. They were always solid reads and ones that I followed month to month most of the time as a little kid. I read Claremont's whole MTU run. It was very good. I especially like the issues pencilled by John Byrne.

The Brave and the Bold, hands down, for all the reasons cited above..

The results are even more one sided here in favor of B&B than they were in Brutalis' poll, but he allowed up to 3 votes each and I only allowed one, so that probably explains the difference.

Marvel Team UpI read these books just as much as DC Comics Presents ... I like Spiderman more than DC Comics has to offer back then. In reality, both of them are just outstanding books.
