I finished the year with 858 and only 21 books read in December. The highlight was the Badger series from 1-12. I want to read the rest of the series in 2021.

I pretty much quit recording my comic reading in June or so, which means I don't have a final tally for 2020.
I know I didn't come near 1000 books. Maybe 2021 will be better.

Well, this year definitely kicked my butt. I would have thought taking unpaid leave from work to guide my kids through remote learning would have given me more time to read. Boy was I wrong. Seems like I was needed every minute that I wasn't cleaning. As a result, this was my lowest reading year ever with under 300 books, and an average year for reviews (72). Still, I had fun, and I know I made a difference for my kids.
Happy New Year, and I'll see you in the 2021 thread!

Doing a quick glance of my reading last year and I see the longest run I read was Fantastic Four from 358 to 412. That's a total of 54 issues, but it was digital which makes the reading experience faster.

Made it just over 1,000 this year, but I should have had far more if not for getting way too sidetracked in the last quarter of the year.

I usually get distracted or busy with stuff.

My longest run must have been Steve Canyon: I went from Dec 1949 to July 1952, so around 2 & 1/2 years' worth of the news-strip.

I ended the year binging Jeff Lemire's Sweet Tooth #1-40, which also served as my longest run.

My longest run was a re-read of Chew, I believe.

Another year of failed goals was 2020. But perhaps 2021 is showing promise, as I’m still on pace for this to be my Swamp Thing year, reading the complete ST comics one per day this year.

I've often toyed with reading The Heap/Swamp Thing/Man Thing in one chronological stretch. I hope you enjoy your reading experience!
