 And now there are only five to go! I had to sit out last week's contest, although there was one cover I considered using, which in fact was entered by another poster. I thought it was a bit questionable, and for these last entries in my secret personal Classic Cover Contest challenge, I want to adhere very strictly to the topic. That'll make this pretty difficult, finding suitable covers in the five remaining categories. |

 X-O Manowar #0 by Joe Quesada. It came in a foil cover and for whatever reason, was the first wraparound cover to pop into my head. Wait...after some reflection, the reason this popped into my head is that this is the prettiest wraparound cover I had as a boy. Just look at the lasers, the aliens, the explosions, the 5th century Visigoth encased in a sentient armor, the shiny foil that encased the entire issue!! This was the most beautiful issue in my collection for a long time. |

Valiant was very much into the collectible market back in the mid 90's and produced some pretty chromium covers. Shadow man had a nice wrap around too.

I found a better one and it's quite old ... and changed it. That's a great one! Would love to see a clean version without all that copy. |
