OK, the field is set. I took my best guess as to seedings. 16 teams in a single elimination tournament, similar to the NCAA.
The poll will lock Monday, March 9 at 6 AM EST.
So, just vote for your fave, and hope that they can make it on to the next round!

I can't answer this one as there are so many different incarnations of the Defenders.

Very true.
Overall though I gotta go with All-Star Squadron cause I liked every version and not so much with the later Defenders (which was really just another X comic IMO)

All-Stars, if only because I only thought there were two worthy incarnations of the Defenders: Gerber and the DAK/Giffen run.

I had to go with the All-Star Squadron, because I love that Roy Thomas series more than any version of the Defenders I know of.

Would it be a tougher choice between the WW II teams, All-Star vs Invaders? This looks like a tough enough choice! Tied at 12-12 right now. I hope there aren't any ties! Anyway, I tried to seed the teams so that we don't wind up with something like the X-Men vs. the Avengers in the first round. This match was my lowest ranked #2 seed versus my highest ranked #3 seed, so on paper it should have been the closest match, and that's exactly how it's played out. |
