My first love was PPTSS. I loved the background on this one and often think it could have been an epic cover if it extended through the entire thing....if not for the ?*%#ing banner ad!!!!!!!! Even better, if "virgin" covers were a thing back then, imagine it with no title, no barcode and just the image. Epic.

Whenever I think of the crimes against cover art that these banner ads represent, there's three that I think are particularly egregious: X-men #137 and BSG #19 are two of them, so now I'm wondering if someone will pick the third...

I also like issue #69 I think, where the title is skewed and the colours dark red with a Cloak and Dagger app from this Spec Spidey era.
