OK, the round of 16 is over and it’s on to the quarters!
The Avengers won over Cap’s other groups, the Invaders, 17-5
The X-Men beat the Freedom Fighters 20-11
The JLA crushed the Challengers of the Unknown 21-4
The Teen Titans beat the Outsiders 18-5
The Fantastic Four defeated the Metal Men 22-
The Legion beat that other space faring group, the Guardians of the Galaxy 18-11
The JSA defeated the Doom Patrol 16-8
In the one nail biter, the Defenders squeaked past the All-Star Squadron 14-13
Now it's time for the merry mutants to take on everyone's favorite interstellar teen heroes!

I wasn't quite sure which team to vote for, I just know that whichever team wins, I'm going to vote for their opponent in the next round.  |

LOSH for me. This was one will be tight i predict. Both teams have a plethora of members great and not so great. And both teams have had ups and downs with lots of great and lousy stories.

I chose to focus on their highest highs, not their lowest lows. Dark Phoenix > Great Darkness.

I'm torn! The X-Men were my favorite comic during the majority of my comic collecting heyday, but I have to say that what's happened post-1984 has left a bad taste in my mouth, plus I love me some Bronze Age Legion, so I voted for the LOSH.

The best of both teams were pretty close to the same time.
I voted Legion probably because it's been a lot longer since I read those "best" issues. I have re-read the vaunted New X-Men era more recently and they didn't hold up well for me.

Wow, this is the toughest match-up for me so far as I'm a huge fan of both teams (through the highs and lows).
At this particular moment though, I have to give the edge ever so slightly to the Legion.....

Legion. Without them and Cockrum, there is no Storm or Nightcrawler and Cockrum's art did more to put the X-men on the path to stardom. Besides, they've gone toe to toe with Darkseid, who makes Magneto wet his overshorts.
