OK, the round of 16 is over and it’s on to the quarters!
The Avengers won over Cap’s other groups, the Invaders, 17-5
The X-Men beat the Freedom Fighters 20-11
The JLA crushed the Challengers of the Unknown 21-4
The Teen Titans beat the Outsiders 18-5
The Fantastic Four defeated the Metal Men 22-
The Legion beat that other space faring group, the Guardians of the Galaxy 18-11
The JSA defeated the Doom Patrol 16-8
In the one nail biter, the Defenders squeaked past the All-Star Squadron 14-13
Now DC's two great superhero teams battle against each other instead of teaming up!
Poll will lock Monday March 16 at 6 AM EST.

I could go either way on this one. I’ve loved the JSA for so long, going back to a few All-Star reprints in the 1970s. But lately I’ve been reading a lot of Golden Age JSA stories digitally ... and it’s overall pretty bad! I ultimately went with the JSA.

While I like the JLA, i have a stronger fascination and delight for distinct and unique old fogies of the JSA who were doing it longer and better and were the inspiration for the JLA.

I love the JSA mix and vibe. Who doesn't love em ? I love 'em, but I have to admit, I'm surprised that they're winning.

I've never been a consistent reader of the JLA while the Johns/Goyer run of JSA is one of my favorite runs ever that helped introduce me to their rich history. So I had to go with the Society.

I'm going with the JSA, just cause I liked the variety of members. On paper, they would win, just because of the Spectre. They had enough magic to neutralize Superman and they had the original Superman; so, gotta give them the nod. Plus, Ma Hunkel!

The JLA have been great four times - Fox/Sekowsky, Wein/Dillin, GiffenDematties/Maguire, and Morrison/Porter.
The JSA were, bizarrely enough, only great in the '90s.
I have more affection for the JSA as a concept - The JLA are really whomsoever happens to show up this week. "JLA member" is meaningless.
And I love, love, love, love, love Earth-Two.
Yeah, I dunno. These are hard!
