OK, the round of 16 is over and it’s on to the quarters!
The Avengers won over Cap’s other groups, the Invaders, 17-5
The X-Men beat the Freedom Fighters 20-11
The JLA crushed the Challengers of the Unknown 21-4
The Teen Titans beat the Outsiders 18-5
The Fantastic Four defeated the Metal Men 22-
The Legion beat that other space faring group, the Guardians of the Galaxy 18-11
The JSA defeated the Doom Patrol 16-8
In the one nail biter, the Defenders squeaked past the All-Star Squadron 14-13
In what could be another barn burned, Marvel's First Family takes on the Teen Titans/New Teen Titans!

DC sidekicks teaming up? Pass. Well, the New Teen Titans (this is meant to be the original Teen Titans AND the New Teen Titans) were mostly not sidekicks, especially after Kid Flash left, and then Jericho later joined the team. I hope people realize that this match-up includes the New Teen Titans, not just the original Teen Titans. |

Despite Wonder Girl doing the frug and grabbing things with her pony tail and just being awesome in general, this contest must go to the Baxter Building Bunch! (After all, its hard to forget that Donna also married Terry Long.)

I've got a soft spot for the Silver Age Teen Titans and it's weird experimentation born of desperation. Now we're about social activism! Now we're gothic horror! I don't actually enjoy reading the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans, but I think they're the perfect team on a conceptual level. I like the FF, but I don't think they ever got out of Kirby's shadow between, say, 1971 and 2009.
Still thinking.

New Teen Titans was the book that made me a fan of superhero comics, no way I'd vote against them.
I still think Judas Contract is my favorite story ever.
