I'm not a fan of cream cheese, I prefer peanut butter or just butter on my bagels, so given the choices here, it would be toast with grape jam or jelly. Of course that begs the question-what kind of toast? Toasted French bread is my preferred choice for toast, then Texas Toast, then sour dough. But course for me, an English muffin (though really neither English or a muffin) with grape jam or jelly beats them all. -M Now you are just jumping the gun! Which toast is a topic for another day😁

Cut the toast? New euphemism for passing gas! Cut the toast with jam or jelly is a wet fartation! 👍🤯🤔🤪🙂

Bagel with cream cheese (and lox, tomato, capers and onion) for me.

Gotta go with toast and jam. Bagels are not really an Australian thing, especially for breakfast.

Then you'll just have to go with how toasty do you like your toast?... -M That last one looks like it's seen some action -- it's got just a little "carbon scoring." Must have been in the Clone Wars with R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Wow, tough one this week. I do love a nice warm piece of toast with butter and some sweet topping (orange marmalade is my standard go-to), but I'm also a big fan of a pumpernickel bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese.
I'll say toast with butter and jam, only because it has more options for me, while my bagel preference is pretty specific.

I'll be the bagel guy. Though I'm not a big fan of cream cheese and prefer my bagels with butter. Though I've become fond of garden herb cream cheese and will eat it now and then.
That said I also really like toast, particularly toasted sourdough. But I'm not that crazy about jams or jellies.

Our UK brethren can simply walk down to the corner Tesco shop and pick it up anytime. Yep, I've seen that in my local Sainsbury's store and I've always wondered what it's like. I love orange marmalade, but I'm never tried lime.

Which One is it gonna be today? Pancakes or Waffle's for you? Buttermilk pancakes all the way. Both my grandmother's made the best fluffy, light delicious eat a ton of 'em at a time! Mmmmmmm smothered in butter with lightly fried eggs dripping over them and maple syrup flowing freely. Sides of bacon, ham and sausages (why have to choose just one when you can have them all?) for an extra treat.
Extra points question: Which One do you prefer your pcakes or waffles for: breakfast or dinner? Perfect cold weather breakfast or weekend morning fill up is my fave. But a nice dinner once in awhile. So what is your choice?

Belgian style waffle (big pockets) (pick your toppings), primarily for breakfast.
I don't dislike pancakes, but they tend to sit in my stomach like a rock. Waffles don't do that for some reason. I prefer the slightly more crispy texture of waffles over the spongy consistency of pancakes.

So what is your choice? Edge to pancakes. But with a caveat. They have to be made in a cast iron skillet or on a well seasoned griddle with enough oil that they have crispy edges. If they don't look like this I have absolutely no interest in them at all.

Waffles are great, but they've never been something we ate at home even if we did have a waffle iron back in the day.
Pancakes, though, are a perennial favourite. Wether served with ham and cheese or with yogourt and fruit or with maple syrup, or more maple syrup, or even more maple syrup, they're always a delight. Since they take a while to prepare, though, we rarely have them for breakfast, even on a week-end; so they're more of a dinner staple.
Thin and crispy Brittany pancakes are the way to go. My dad used to make something similar, thin buckwheat pancakes that he'd eat with head cheese and mustard... but the taste of buckwheat never grew on me.
Mmmmmmmh.... Pancakes... And here we are, with no idea of what to eat tonight...

Which One is it gonna be today? Pancakes or Waffle's for you? Waffles, just because the syrup has more places to go. IHOP has this to die for pancake stack with nutella or some variation there of smeared between the pancakes

Almost too close to call, as was the bagel vs toast. Very slight edge to bagels and to pancakes, but I could reverse my preference on any given day.
