After a incident as a child where I started choking on a chicken bone, I lost all desire to eat bone-in wings. And I'm generally a barbeque guy, but give me teriyaki on my boneless wings all day.

I'm well aware boneless wings are really chicken nuggets. And I'm fine with that.. they're just a vechile for the sauce, as long as they're slightly higher quality than actual fast food nuggets, it's all fine.

Which One are/were you closer to? Mother or Father? Mom wins as she was the typical 60's and 70's stay at home mother, raising 3 boys while cooking, cleaning and managing the bills. She fed us, gave us the daily chores, lectured us, spanked our bottoms, sent us off to school, made us do our homework, rolled us out of bed Sunday mornings for church and more or less ruled with a large wooden spoon used aptly to feed and punish as necessary. She also was the one who taught us manners, respect, moral's, responsibilities and all that jazz mom's expect. Dad was never at home much for us during our formulative growing years. Working 6 days a week, holding down 2 poorly paying jobs or later full time construction, he was gone before we ever woke in the morning and at times not home until after we kids were in bed. His one day home on Sunday was spent reading the Sunday paper all morning with coffee and cigarettes followed by the afternoon sleeping on the couch with sports playing on the television. Pop's earned the income but Mom controlled it and the house!

Which One are/were you closer to? Mother or Father? Oh, definitely my mom! We share a very interesting sense of humor that I've only able been able to share with one other person that I know of in my life
My step-dad has always just kind of been passive and stern, not really wanting to get much involved in my life. His dad and my biological one were that way too
Tbh, my grandfather was probably more of a father figure than my real one was. Miss him a lot

Sorry, I can't make this choice. I've always been very close to both of my parents.

My parents are both dead. I think geographically my Moms grave is a few feet closer than my Dads.
Honestly, neither or both. I was close to both in different ways.

Which One this week? Red or Black licorice? Never really cared for the taste of black licorice so my choice is always red Twizzler's or Red Vines for nibbling on. Especially when at the movies (which I miss very much dagnabbit COVID) on the weekend.

Especially when at the movies (which I miss very much dagnabbit COVID) on the weekend. I love Licorice All-Sorts even though the centerpiece is Australian black licorice which tastes like pure butt. I love Twizzlers especially the Rainbow and Sweet & Sour varieties

Red for sure.
Generally Twizzlers are best. For Red Vines, I have to be in a certain mood.

Red all the way!
(Although I like anise very much, I never took a liking to black licorice).

Black Licorice. Definitely. Probably goes hand in hand with my love of absinthe, Jaegermeister and Ouzo. In particular, THIS... Fazer's Turkish Pepper Licorice. A friend of mine who is from Sweden introduced me to Fazer's. It's like nothing else on the planet.

There is only black licorice. In order to be licorice it has to be flavored with licorice extract. I’m a big fan of the flavor.
I’ll pass on the red ones.

Never was a fan of either flavour of licorice. I find them both mildly repulsive.
