Kyle for me too. But within the options; as long as it’s not Hal Jordan I’m good.

From the three available to choose from, Stewart. Jordan's milquetoast and Gardner's a douchebag.

As the summer heat kicks in let's jump into the cool waters of the ocean and ask Which One for Namor, the Submariner? Green speedo or blue scaled suit? Blue Scaled for me. While I can understand the green trunk version makes sense, but visually the blue with yellow underarm wings as Romita designed is more stylish. And there seems to others who like it since many stories since the 00's have variant versions for Subby. And he looks more "royal" than parading about in his near nakedness.
An aside is I never thought his ankle wings would lift him for prolonged flight and act more like a flying fish kind of thing which help propel him up and out of water. The underarm wings I felt would help deliver more glide for an extended flight.

Darn, that's a difficult one!
Although the blue Speedo came first, the green one became the standard in undersea attire as far as Namor goes... and will probably remain so, like Daredevil's red costume. And yet, I must admit that the blue scaly suit looks so good that it's the one I must choose.
True, it looks very impractical. How could anyone swim with umbrella ribs attached under their arms? Why would an underwater creature wear clothes to begin with? But like Black Bolt's, Namor's fishscale costume just screams "Bronze Age Marvel" to me, the time I got aboard.
It must smell pretty bad when Namor gets out of the water, though; like a wetsuit that just won't dry. Blechhh.

The green speedo is the classic look for Namor. It didn't change for 35 years because it didn't need to change. The blue scaly suit looked like an affectation.

I prefer the blue-scaled suit. I get that the speedo is the classic look and it's fine for when he's in the water, but I don't want an almost nekkid dude just hanging out everywhere.

Blue-scaled, but it's like a really cool variant to me versus not appreciating the old green classic. I'm a sucker for all of the costume experimenting that was going on in the 70's!

Neither-- not a Subby fan at all. As far as Marvel Atlanteans go, I prefer the silver-age Attuma.
No offense intended.

No offense intended. He did have a great helmet. Like a prototype of Ant-Man's. And that tri-sword... . If it were a wine, you'd call it imposing, but impractical.

I could see them giving him a costume for outside the water, but I never liked the looks of the blue-scale suit. But it does make a kind of sense (the superhero kind) that he would have to wear something out of the water just as surface-dwellers have to wear something when they go under water for any length of time.

Does the blue costume help Namor stay hydrated, the way Aquaman's does not? That would be a logical in-universe rationale. I wonder if the costume goes squish-squish when Namor walks in it...

I can't take Namor very seriously at all. Due in part to the green speedo, and the ankle wings didn't help, either.
I suppose you can glean my answer.

That actually was the reason for the original blue suit. Don't remember the finer details but Namor had been poisoned (or some such) and weakened so he turned to Reed Richards for help. Reed came up with the hydrating suit as the answer to keeping Namor as live. Eventually he recovered or was cured (unsure which) and went back to strutting his nearly nekked fishiness for the girls and boys.

OTOH, it's fair that there's at least one half-naked male superhero to help balance all the half-naked female ones. Also, it helps explain why Sue Storm/Richards was so attracted to him.
